About the Role
We connect business needs with employee needs! The Talent Development Partner is a key member of the People Services Team. They will take the time to assess and understand gaps in the organization from a combination of people data and strategic partnerships. As a Talent Development Partner, you will be responsible for aiding in the development and delivery of people programs based on organizational needs.
What You'll Do
  • Analyze --
  • Conduct gap analysis and needs assessments in order to understand business needs and organizational opportunities.
  • Build relationships with leadership teams by discussing development opportunities
  • Partner with People Services/department leadership to analyze organizational trends
  • Development and Delivery --
  • Implement talent programs and processes that will elevate the employee experience such as leadership training, individual development plans and performance management tools
  • Generate creative development solutions using a variety of media and eLearning authoring tools
  • Both in-person facilitation and virtual instructor-led training required for this role
  • There will be travel required on occasion
  • Implementation/Assessment --
  • Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs and initiatives through measurement tools and consultation with business partners, leaders or other key stakeholders.
  • Help integrate and reinforce the Houzz Competency Framework
  • Support the implementation and accountability of development programs through consistent and creative follow-up strategies
  • Communicate --
  • Communicate and drive the consistent implementation of the company's people practices and provide coaching and consultation to management
  • Coach leadership on people strategies including hiring, performance management, compensation, recognition and career development
  • Work closely with leadership and employees to improve team/leadership effectiveness, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • At a Minimum, We'd Like You to Have
  • Instructional design experience 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and 2 years’ experience in staffing, workforce planning, performance management, or training OR 4 years’ experience in staffing, workforce planning, performance management, or training.
  • Critical Competencies: Business Minded, Future Perspective, Resourcefulness, Team Player, Drives Development, Celebrates Diversity, Effective Communicator, Influencer, Agile Learner, Circumstantial Adaptability, and Grit
  • Ideally, You'll Also Have
  • Workday Learning experience
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Human Resources certification (for example, Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
