About the Role
Houzz recently launched the Houzz Trade Program to provide industry professionals with multiple ways to profit from purchasing and recommending products in the Houzz Marketplace. The Houzz Marketplace offers everything from items for major remodeling projects and custom home builds, such as bathtubs and fixtures, to furniture and decor products. 
We are looking to grow our team of Trade Account Managers who work directly with professionals including designers, architects, contractors and commercial clients such as hotels, restaurants, real estate developers and property management agencies.  As a Trade Account Manager you will act as a 1-stop resource for product sourcing, project management, bulk orders, vendor negotiation and as a liaison to many internal teams and departments.  Your key responsibilities will involve bringing on new accounts, up-selling and developing strong relationships with clients to achieve sales and repeat purchase goals.
What You'll Do
  • Grow a book of business and increase the lifetime value of trade professionals and business accounts
  • Maintain strong relationships with Houzz trade professionals through consistent communication and follow-up
  • Educate professionals about the benefits of the Houzz Trade program, shopping on Houzz, collaborate using Ideabooks and other Houzz features and products
  • Provide a superior client experience by working with vendors and internal teams to negotiate discounts, ensure on-time deliveries, product source for upcoming projects/opportunities, and conduct all other post-purchase support
  • Develop relevant product knowledge and stay up to date on industry trends
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and profitability objectives as provided
  • At a Minimum, We'd Like You to Have
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales or account management experience
  • A proven ability to establish long-term client relationships and grow a book of business
  • Experience using a consultative sales approach 
  • Excellent time management, follow-up and prioritization skills
  • Experience as a positive team player, adept at working with multiple teams to deliver on tight deadlines
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ideally, You'll Also Have
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience using a CRM tool such as Salesforce
  • Trade or industry experience working with home professionals
