We’re here because we believe in small businesses. We believe they deserve better than waiting weeks for a loan. And we believe it’s our job to help them grow.
We started in 2012 with these principles, and we hold true to them today – now that we’re one of the fastest-growing fintechs in Europe. In the time between, we’ve built the best tech platform in lending, won several awards and opened up £3.5 billion in loans to over 70,000 businesses.
So what’s next? Our mission now is to help one million businesses who need us. To do this, we’ll need new products and partnerships. But most of all, we’ll need smart, hands-on people to join us on the journey and get us to our goal.
Requirements
We are looking for a strategic and analytical person to own a marketing channel from A to Z and who loves to see the impact their ideas have on the business. You’ll be responsible for growing our Direct Mail channel and drive new valuables small business customers to iwoca: To get there:
- You will own our Direct Mail Test and Learn roadmap: you’ll maintain a portfolio of promising ideas (from data sources to creatives), decide their level of priority, and ensure a robust testing framework is applied for each test you run.
- You will become an expert of our marketing database and our lead score model: assessing the quality of our data sources, identifying features that discriminate valuable leads from poor leads (and much more), reducing your manual tasks with smart coding. Like a Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for writing the roadmap and brief plans, and you’ll be supported by a network of data scientists and engineers.
- Running a tight ship: you will be responsible for briefing and implementing our direct mail campaigns. To do that, you will create strong creative briefs and work closely with multiple teams, internal and external (design, data analyst, mail providers) to deliver top-of-class Mails. You’ll also ensure that we remain compliant with GDPR by being the Unsubscribes process owner. You will analyse your campaign performance, understand drivers of ROI, identify learnings and optimise your futures campaigns accordingly.
Ideally, you’ll:
- Have a strong capacity to understand the bigger picture and how your actions can affect the overall commercial success of iwoca
- Be resourceful, and great at project management: unafraid to tackle new challenges, breaking down complicated projects into simple steps, organising and rallying stakeholders to make progress in a smooth and timely way
- Have a strong analytical skill set, demonstrating excellent attention to detail: confident with drawing insights from complex datasets and forming data-driven arguments.
- Have some coding notion, and excited at the prospect of developing this skills using NoteBook
- Be excited about helping small businesses thrive
We want to make iwoca a place where everyone feels welcome, where you can confidently be yourself.
