As Industrial Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful orchestration of innovative projects, from award to warranty phase. While working in a fast-evolving industry ecosystem, you will also be given the chance to fruitfully partnering with our salesforce as well as our technology team through initiatives aimed to shape the future of our organization and penetrate new markets.
As leader of your projects, you are expected to proficiently drive your team and engage all supporting functions as needed to smoothly execute in compliance with the contractual commitments. In this crucial role, you are the to-go person for all project stakeholders and a guide for your team to get opportunities out of challenges and unpredictable changes. As project manager, you are expected to make sure that project financials, on-time delivery and quality excellence meet and ambitiously exceed targets while ensuring HSE and integrity are on top to everyone’s agendas. In your capacity of primary contact point for customers, you are responsible to address and resolve any project related matters including reporting status at all levels, managing correspondences, presentations or visits, dealing with commercial instances, variation orders, risks mitigation, claims, lessons learnt sessions and project close out.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
• Have a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college. Good experience in Program/Project Management, preferably with employers such as EPCs operating in Industrial / New energy solutions;
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills, be fluent in English and master presentations at executive level;
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and project management skills in a fast paced and global-matrix environment;
• Have an entrepreneurial attitude and display solid behavioral, influencing and leadership skills;
• Be an integrity ambassador, letting compliance be pivotal for each and every of your actions;
• Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to framing and solving problems;
• Be proficient in managing project financials, including revenues, contribution margin and cash;
• Have a thorough knowledge of T&Cs glossary and dynamics, including contractual provisions, risks, claims and remedies management;
• Demonstrate ability to work with remote teams and to deliver while handling large numbers of diverse tasks;
• Show experience in understanding customer dynamics in the industrial space as well as on how to approach as a solution vs equipment provider. Have good background in Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Compressor technologies, energy storage and Industrial Power Generation applications.
• Be digital-oriented and display ability to create value to our portfolio by means of new technologies and flexible execution models development
• Be able to travel internationally to visit customers or Baker Hughes locations
