  • Responsible for Russian accounting and Tax accounting, including the control of monthly and quarterly reporting to the Russian Central Bank and quarterly reporting to the Tax Authorities which is both done by an external provider;
  • Monitoring of accounting legislation;
  • Further development of  tax and accounting policies;
  • Automation of accounting and reporting;
  • Functionally manage the financial controller.
  • Desired skills and experience
  • University / post-graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting & Audit  or a related field;
  • Minimum 6 years experience working in accounting or IFRS reporting, including 2 years of experience working as Chief/ Deputy Chief Accountant in bank or microfinance company in Russia;
  • Russian accounting and Tax legislation knowledge;
  • Experience in preparing  Financial Statements and Tax declarations;
  • Fluent in Russian and preferably also English; the ability to communicate effectively in other languages is helpful, with a strong preference for German, Spanish and/ or Polish;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment;

  • Work as a junior member of the Legal & Compliance team, providing advice to various stakeholders within the organization on a wide array of commercial legal issues, with an emphasis in Corporate & Commercial law, Consumer Credit law, Data Protection law and AML/CFT regulation;
  • Assist Senior Counsels in the review of commercial agreements and management of the internal Contract Management Tool;
  • Assist Senior Counsels with knowledge management, carry out legal research and document findings in the internal knowledge wiki;
  • Support on investment processes, including due diligence and document preparation and maintain the organization’s Virtual Data-Room;
  • Take full ownership of certain compliance monitoring routines in coordination with Senior Compliance Managers.
  • Desired skills and experience
  • You are at the latest stage or have completed a law degree at a reputed Law School (Bar membership/ authorization to practice law are not strictly required for this particular position);
  • Strong academic background;
  • Good understanding of the Fintech space and the credit business;
  • Strong literacy and familiarity with technology, ideally with a demonstrated affinity for IT Law;
  • Professional fluency and very strong communication skills in English required;

  • Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data;
  • Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses;

  • Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity;
  • Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.
  • The SRE team is currently working with various technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL and AWS RDS.

  • Education in Computer Science;
  • Proven working experience as a Database administrator;
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS);
  • Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications;
  • Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL;
  • Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding;
  • Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools;
