  • We start everyday with our team stand up to catch up and be informed. In this team you will take ownership of the development pipeline together with our most senior developers in Kreditech.
  • Your focus will be to develop an engine that allows us to move data from one system to another. Sounds simple because we believe that less is more. Simplicity is also part of our team values.
  • You will also ensure that the quality and reliability of our software is scalable and can be used across multiple countries and products (adaptability).

    Desired skills and experience

  • 2-5 years of experience with Scala, Java or other JVM-based languages;
  • Expertise with SQL, RDBMS design and optimization;
  • Hands-on experience working with functional programming languages;
  • Experience working in Agile development environments, preferably following Scrum methodology;
  • Working knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases;
  • Strong knowledge of HTTP and (REST) API design;
  • Experience in JavaScript full stack development (e.g. AngularJS and Node.js) is a plus.

  • Provide accurate and timely financial analysis covering daily, weekly and monthly management reporting, including a full P&L analysis and preparation of full commentary and variance analysis, highlighting areas of concern/improvement;
  • Run the entire Operating Expenses budget and forecasting process for the business for certain entities;
  • Drive the company's business and profitability analysis for certain entities;
  • Undertake cost/benefit analysis to evaluate and support the commercial teams;
  • Implement reports, controls and processes within the business to ensure better management information and to improve the reporting cycle;
  • Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections;
  • Understand the entire arc of the business and how productivity impacts profitability;
  • Roll out clear cost-saving programs with timelines and assessment goals;
  • Desired skills and experience
  • University / post-graduate degree in Finance or Controlling/FP&A;
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in Controlling/FP&A;
  • Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data;
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in Polish and English; German is a plus;
  • You understand collaboration and teamwork and you will enjoy working with a diverse international team;
  • Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately;

  • Owns payments product strategy and roadmap in line with overall payment strategy;
  • Contributing to meeting payment financial targets;
  • Play a key role in new product development process and ensure products are designed right from day 1 from a payments perspective;
  • Builds product backlog so that development team accepts and delivers product/sprint;
  • Contribute to developing payment processes for all core products (e-commerce and direct loans) across multiple markets;
  • Continuously improves product quality to 25% Net Promoter Score p.a. and max. 1% complaint;
  • Optimizes conversation rate no less than 30% on average of payment products;
  • Work closely with payments team in engineering, payments operations, other product owners, finance, collections, service center, strategic business partners and payment service providers to continuously optimize processes and innovate;
  • Deliver a smooth customer experience by ensuring seamless payment processes;
  • Ensure all payment processes are automated as efficiently as possible with minimum intervention required;
  • Work closely with Finance and accounting to ensure every payment related business event is mapped and accounted for as per finance guidelines;
  • Own, maintain, and advocate improvements for the tools that track the performance and efficacy of Kreditech’s payment systems and processes;

  • Desired skills & experience

  • 5+ years experience in developing highly successful and innovative consumer internet products, thereof, 3+ years experience in payments product management role is a must;
  • Strong technical skills to be self-reliant in extracting, cleaning and analyzing data and working closely with technical teams;
  • Master, Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Management;
  • Past experience in leading integration of payment service providers at business and technical level would be an asset;
  • Leadership, Hands-on attitude, delivery oriented and results driven, with a pragmatic implementation focus;
  • Fluent in English; additional languages like Polish, Russian or Spanish are a plus.

    The scope of the role is to strengthen our data engineering team in order to develop and maintain its infrastructure and technology stack, while focusing on the business requirements defined by the different stakeholders.

  • Work together with a very creative and experienced team on our constantly evolving Enterprise Data Warehouse;
  • Maintain and expand our ETL processes, which are responsible for many outputs and transformations;
  • Coordinate and implement metrics and reports in collaboration with the relevant departments;
  • Design and implement tests for validation of content, accuracy and system performance;
  • Act as a reliable contact for key stakeholders.

    Desired skills & experience

  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in development and operation of data warehousing systems;
  • Strong knowledge of SQL;
  • Good knowledge of one of scripting languages Lua/Python/R or ability and desire to learn it fast;
  • Strong knowledge of Data modeling in particular in terms of data warehousing and analytical systems;
  • Experience developing ETL processes, using special tools (like Pentaho, Talend ...);
  • Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or engineering is a plus;
  • Knowledge in the fields of financial services is plus;
  • Fluent in English. Any other language would be a plus.

    The Collection Team is accountable for the amicable process of recovering late payments from our clients. As a Head of Collection you will be responsible for managing a team of 15 people dealing with early and late debt collection, fraud prevention and service center activities. You will cooperate with Head of Collection from other countries, with debt collection companies providing external service and lawyers at the judicial stage. You will have the chance to use your experience in optimizing the recovery processes of our company, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service in the fintech environment.

  • Drive the collection strategy and execution in Poland and lead 15+ collection agents;
  • Design efficient and effective workflows to maximize recovery rates;
  • Negotiate sales of non-performing portfolios with external partners;
  • Design and maintain highly professional and efficient customer collection processes;
  • Carry out data analysis to facilitate continuous improvement;
  • Partner with Legal & Compliance Officer in Poland to ensure compliance on collection activities;
  • Influence IT development of internal collection software and tools.

    Desired skills & experience

  • 4+ years of experience in consumer collection;
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership position in consumer collection, either a specialized agency or in-house ;
  • Experience in assessing and recovering 8-digit PLN consumer portfolios;
  • Experience in training collection call center agents;
  • Comfortable getting work done in remote communication with our HQ in Hamburg;
  • Independent and autonomous decision-maker;
  • Strong leadership and people skills;
  • Highly analytical mindset;
  • Fluent in Polish and English.
