  • Assume ownership of the group’s contract management tool and workflow, ensuring that all contracts are adequately reviewed by all relevant stakeholders before execution.
  • Assume ownership of the group’s trademark portfolio, centrally coordinating trademark application and renewal processes.
  • Assist commercial teams in contract negotiation and draft commercial agreements.
  • Carry out company secretarial work including the maintenance of a document repository and/or a data-room, if needed in specific financial transactions.
  • Ensure that there is an adequate contractual framework in place between Kreditech Holding and all its subsidiaries, including all necessary outsourcing agreements.
  • Maintain a group-wide inventory of litigation and disputes and ensure adequate external representation for all disputes that involve any German companies within the Kreditech group. (Full admission to practice Law in Germany is not a must).
  • Ensure adequate response to any and all regulatory inquiries concerning the German companies within the Kreditech group.  
  • Ensure that all legal/regulatory risks are properly inventorized in the Group risk portal.
  • Carry out legal research and document findings in the internal knowledge wiki.
  • Desired skills and experiences
  • You have completed a Masters of Law degree (LLM or equivalent) at a reputed Law-school.
  • 2+ years experience in the legal department of a multinational corporation or an international Law-firm.
  • A generalist profile, with demonstrable experience in contract drafting.
  • Demonstrable experience in IP and/or corporate Law matters.
  • Professional fluency and very strong communication skills in English.
  • Impeccable attention to detail coupled with a good level of pragmatism.
  • Strong literacy and familiarity with technology, ideally with a demonstrable affinity for IT Law.
  • Familiarity and experience with procurement processes in a multinational.
  • Experience working in a matrix setting and a strong inclination for collaboration and deliberation.
  • High integrity and ability to prioritize.
  • Highly desirable: Fluency in German language.

  • Work as junior member of the Loan Book Accounting and Reporting department being part of the Finance team with a wide range of topics including financial assets accounting, controlling and reporting;
  • Assist in development and testing of new set of loan book accounting reports created for the new architecture based on new loan management system (Mambu);
  • Support the process of  integration of new reporting structure into existing loan book reporting system;
  • Performing daily/monthly validation testing of accounting information in order to improve the quality of reports produced;
  • Participate in monthly and yearly books closure with preparation of consolidated financial statements;
  • Assist with preparation of the information upon the requests from BIG4 auditors, consultants and due diligence teams;

    Desired skills and experience

    Essential

  • Expert in Linux-based systems; if you’ve typed the same command more than a few times you’ll probably write a shell script for it;
  • You have experience in automating as much as possible with the use of a variety of scripting languages (BASH, Python, Go or similar);
  • Understand at least the basics of TCP networking and can debug basic networking issues;
  • Hands on experience with AWS cloud environment;
  • Team player with great communication skills, you work well with technical and non-technical teams;
  • Passionate about learning new technologies;
  • Fluency in English, our working language.
  • Preferred

  • Good understanding of database queries;
  • Familiarity with containers and orchestration systems like Kubernetes Docker Swarm or ECS;

  • Monitor performance of credit products/portfolios. Conduct periodic reviews of global Kreditech businesses and provide ongoing assessments of credit risks in the portfolio and product strategies;
  • Further develop Credit & Portfolio Risk Management framework, focusing on analysis, reporting and control of our global consumer finance activities, within the department;
  • Support the team members in policy-setting, building analysis and reporting excellence for loan portfolios on the book, ultimately contributing to profitability and growth;
  • Work closely with Business Intelligence and Data Science teams on tactical and strategic Credit Risk Analytics projects;
  • Apply analytical techniques to customer data and transaction data to build risk mitigation strategies and processes;
  • Summarize analytic reports into presentations and share analyses with Credit Risk Committee.

    Desired skills and experience

  • Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Statistics;
  • Strong willingness to learn and ability to pick up complex topics quickly;

  • Within this Role you will act as a main Operator in the fields of Cash Flow Operations, including but not limited to monitoring customer cash transfers via  BANK/SEPA Payments, Payment Providers, Direct Debits and Credit Cards;
  • Act as the liaison between Operations and Finance teams; Responsibility for customer cash flow (in- and outflow) related issues, including payment processing, chargeback reviews, identifying/fighting potential fraud cases and collaborate with Banks & Payment Service Providers.
  • Ensure end-to-end flow of money through Kreditech and perform the appropriate tasks and checks for each stage. This entails the end-to-end flow of all Kreditech’s products, countries and systems.
  • Be the first point of contact for inquiries from internal stakeholders (i.e. Service Center, Collection, Commercial and Legal) regarding payments operations.
  • Ensure payments are processed in a timely manner, accurately within daily cut off times and deadlines.
  • Work closely with the  Accounting and Treasury departments on processes such as account payables and cash control.
  • Identify, report and fix unexpected behavior of loans and payments processes, such as failure to book payment and finding short/long term solutions.
  • Work closely with Engineering team during planning, development and testing of new products or systems  
  • Actively seek ways of improving process efficiency, implementing best practices and identifying cost saving initiatives.
  • Contribute to company projects as required.
  • Desired skills and experience
  • University degree in finance or treasury or an apprenticeship combined with a certification (i.e. ACCA, Certified Treasurer, Certified Management Accountant etc.)
  • 1+ years work experience in Finance or a similar field
  • Solid understanding of Payment Product (Banks, PSP, Credit Card)
  • Think outside the box, quick uptake, team work
  • Fluent in English and Polish or Spanish. Knowledge of German is a plus.
