You will act as a liaison between management and developers. This entails leading the project’s development across various technologies. Managing the successful project’s delivery will require you to plan, coordinate and lead activities across the full delivery life cycle. You will be challenged, integrating these technologies at light speed when guaranteed solutions don’t yet exist and it is your job to keep all the players coordinated and the product’s progress on track.

A day in this job :

• Continuously inspire your team mates
• Maintain a cutting edge platform that leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to pursue outstanding balances across a variety of products and markets;
• Own the responsibility of ensuring scalability of the platform and identifying and mitigating potential bottlenecks as well as helping to define action plans to remedy bugs or unexpected behavior for the platform;
• Keep state-of-the-art software and best engineering practices;
• Actively coach and guide your team in their professional development and growth;
• Work with a product owner to promote collaboration between business and technology, turning ideas into deployed code;
• Collaborate with Team Leads of other Kreditech platforms and departments, such as Payments, Data Science, and Site Reliability Engineering to ensure a high standard of quality and smooth operations;
• Work with the recruiting team to attract and retain high-quality talent.

Desired skills and experience

• University degree in Computer Science or relevant practical experience;
• 5+ years’ experience as a Team Leader with previous hands-on experience as a software engineer in an agile/CI/cloud-computing environment with experience in multiple programming languages;
• Proficiency in Javascript and React to provide meaningful guidance in the design and implementation of web app development;
• Practical experience and understanding of large-scale distributed systems and an understanding of both business and technology requirements;
• Highly technical and hands-on capable, not afraid of shaping the code and getting things done;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize work efficiently, and good team orientation;
• Used to working in a multicultural environment.
