Senior Merchandise Manager (m/f)

• Be responsible for your own product category and lead a team of experienced buyers
• Define and manage the category strategy by working close with management and founders and provide continuous analysis of internal data and market opportunities
• Source new products and always be ahead of trends by using our internal trend tool, visit international fairs and do market research
• Build an international network of suppliers and be responsible for successful and sustainable business partnerships
• Visit factories all over the world and our sourcing office in China to build new sourcing channels and maintain existing ones
• Setup processes and work closely with other departments such as category management, logistics, marketing, content or sampling in order to constantly improve quality, performance and lead times of your category and products
• Create new private brands and setup rollout strategies together with our branding team

• At least 4 years work experience in buying        
• Highly affinity for numbers and strong analytical and conceptual ability    
• Excellent grasp of target group related trends        
• Outstanding pre-established network and branch knowledge        
• Enjoys networking, bargaining and is passionate about buying        
• A good communicator with excellent leadership qualities      
• Good knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel          
• Proactive and enthusiastic, with a will to take ownership and create something        
• Business fluent in German and English
