THE ROLE
At Moneyfarm we make investing and saving accessible to everyone in a simple and transparent way. For our clients to have a smooth and excellent experience we ensure all banking operations are fast, reliable and with the user in mind. There are a number of activities and tasks which facilitate the smooth running of the activities which allow Moneyfarm to be a leader in the sector. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, proactive and robust Legal Counsel who is interested in a broad, challenging and rewarding role and who will contribute by providing legal advice to the business globally. The role requires the ability to work independently from day one and to manage a diverse and complex workload meeting tight deadlines.

Reporting Relationship: Reports to MFM Chairman

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage and maintain legal entities and required legal documents/ requirements/records
  • Advising on the current regulatory regime in Italy/UK and other jurisdictions, both in the EU and elsewhere, as well as the analysis and implementation of new regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to various departments within the firm on legal compliance matters.
  • Help structure, draft and negotiate deals/transactions documents and participate in global cross-functional teams to execute transactions.
  • Liaising with outside counsels on a broad range of domestic and cross border jurisdictional issues
  • Adapt and adjust job responsibilities to accommodate changing priorities while managing multiple requirements and timelines; and
  • Monitor for new regulatory requirements that may impact the business and funds.

  • KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of 3 years of finance/banking experience with a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Working knowledge of diverse legal areas including, corporate, commercial, and banking (wealth management) law.
  • Understanding of banking/financial services operations and issues.
  • Proven exposure to deal with UK contracts and common law

  • EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Law school degree
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Italian and English language
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • A high degree of professionalism
  • Desire to learn a variety of aspects of the wealth management business, including operations, administration, distribution and compliance

    Moneyfarm is a fast growing digital wealth manager in the UK and Italy that helps people protect and increase their wealth.We are currently looking for an experienced Product Manager to join us in our London-based product team to help drive growth by building a better product for our customers.

    What we’re looking for
    You should have a proven track record of working with product design and development teams to address customer needs, identifying the areas with the most potential and building experiments and features which lead to increased growth of the Moneyfarm products. We want to push our products further, and you will be given the freedom and autonomy to create something you own and believe in.
    What you’ll be doing
    You’ll be responsible for managing a large part of the Moneyfarm product with a dedicated team of developers and designers. Your focus will be on the customer experience, and how you can help Moneyfarm grow - both from new customers and existing ones. Day to day, you will work very closely with your tech lead, managing the sprint and ensuring you are prepared for the relevant scrum ceremonies. You will also have to manage and interact with stakeholders - both internal and external - to plan and manage your roadmap and to fully understand what needs to be done, including writing user stories.We don’t do long term roadmaps, so adaptability is key.
    The things you’ll need

  • At least 5 years experience in a relevant product role
  • Evidence where you have helped a B2C company or project grow
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Agile/scrum experience, including all ceremonies (Standups, planning, grooming, retrospectives etc)
  • Experience planning and adjusting roadmaps, writing user stories and prioritising tasks

  • Nice things to have

  • Experience in Financial Services or another fintech.
  • A technical background, you’ll be working very closely with developers so understanding the requirements they have would be beneficial

    Digital wealth management - making sure our customers understand the concept and its position in the investment management landscape
    The Moneyfarm product  - guiding customers and prospective customers through our investment advice journey and why Moneyfarm is different from peers
    Investments - explain how our asset allocation and investment team look after our customers' money to help them achieve their investment goals, and providing updates on our investment views over time
    Responsibilities

  • Proactively managing customer relationships
  • Always putting the customer first and providing the highest level of customer engagement, via phone, emails and webchat
  • Ensuring that customers have a smooth experience when joining the platform and have access to any information they require
  • Helping customers fully understand why Moneyfarm is different and how we help clients achieve their goals
  • Consistently improving knowledge of Moneyfarm’s platform to support customers and improve their experience
  • Be a spokesperson for the customer by feeding back any comments or concerns to the Head of UKIC or the product and marketing teams
  • Explain our views on market developments and provide updates to individual customers
  • Document all customer contact in our database
  • Work with Head of UKIC to improve and develop processes to benefit the customer experience

  • Main Requirements

  • A keen interest in financial advice, wealth management and fintech
  • Passionate about customer service and ensuring their needs are met 
  • Min 1 year proven commercial experience in a Financial Services environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and comfortable dealing with customers on the phone
  • Ability to grasp new technologies/systems quickly and explain these to others
  • Degree in Business, Economics or Finance
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, and effective problem solving

    As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will work on all Digital Paid channels, including search campaigns on Google and Bing, as well as Paid Social, Display marketing engines and Email Marketing across both UK and Italy.

You will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the Internet can become a strong asset to securing growing revenue.     Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Helping to create and optimise targeted digital marketing campaigns to drive new customer acquisition and existing customer retention.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of online marketing activity.
  • Executing tests, collecting and analysing data, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in digital campaigns.

  • Assisting in the management and optimisation of our programmatic media buying by pulling regular reports out of our DSPs, analysing performance drivers and translating insights into actionable hypotheses and tweaks.
  • Tracking, reporting and analysing website analytics and campaigns.
  • Creating and sending email campaigns to the agreed targeted audience.
  • Improving the performance of marketing emails by running A/B tests and results analysis.

  • Must have:

  • At least 1 year experience and tangible success in managing digital campaigns in at least one of the following channels: across Display, PPC and Paid Social.
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience generating reports.

  • Good to have:

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS.
  • Knowledge of Display Programmatic environment is a plus.

    Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, optimise, deploy and support new and existing data models and ETL pipelines in production.
  • Conduct data modelling and data flow designs and produce constructive code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and fix data quality issues by analysing the root cause and follow up the resolution.

  • You have a strong proficiency in SQL and development experience in at least one scripting language (Python preferred).
