Client Operations team has a key strategic role within the organization as it represents one of the key  levers to unlock greater efficiency, tighter risk management and slicker client experience, therefore representing one of the key potential drivers to firm’s profitability and its robustness when scaling the business.
The Operations Analyst will provide general support for fellow colleagues involved in the day to day running of the investment advisory / trading business.
As Junior Operations Analyst you will assist with the day to day running of the Client Operations team across clusters of activities and provide support to senior colleagues dealing with various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the procedures.
Responsibilities will be at all levels and will touch most of the steps of the client experience, from opening the account, to checking identity, to trading and liquidity management. This ultimately provides great exposure to all the components of MFM value chain and to most key stakeholders, with the potential for impacting the business from day 1.
Responsibilities:
  • Communicating with Financial Advisers and clients
  • Preparation and processing of all new client documentation and amendments
  • Reconciliations of bank account
  • Monitoring of transfers of assets/cash from other institutions
  • Processing of payments clients
  • Checking quarterly fees
  • Liaising with colleagues within Business Support regarding administration of client accounts
  • Ensuring maintenance of client KYC on systems
  • Ensuring client details and reviews are recorded correctly on systems
  • General record keeping and electronic filing
  • Record and handle all incoming and outgoing post duties
  • Scanning in all incoming post as well occasional additional ad hoc scanning
  • Paper and electronic filing documents.
  • Main requirements:
  • Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
  • 3+ years experience in similar role Operations / accounting / compliance / risk roles
  • Sharp, eager to learn and to have an impact
  • Digitally savvy
  • Excellent organisational skills - ability to accurately perform tasks in a timely manner
  • Prior experience in operations or compliance in a financial institution beneficial
  • Experience in Financial Services would be beneficial.
