As Senior Investment Adviser, you will recommend the best solutions by researching and considering all our retail investment products to meet the client's needs.
You will work with various teams across the business, including Asset Allocation, Marketing, Product, Operations and Compliance to deliver a seamless and integrated experience to our more affluent clients.
Responsibilities
  • Contacting clients and setting up meetings in order to conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims
  • Analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirements
  • Completing risk analysis and designing financial strategies
  • Keeping abreast of the marketplace and providing clients with information on our new and existing products and services
  • Reviewing and responding to clients changing needs and financial circumstances
  • Promoting and selling our financial products to meet targets
  • Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation
  • Producing financial reports
  • Contacting clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments
  • Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g. requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided and also the advised products
  • Requirements
  • Strong ability and experience of explaining complex financial market and product information simply and clearly
  • Have a proven track record of acquiring and retaining clients
  • Have a passion for building long term relationships with clients, by delivering a high quality ongoing advice service
  • Strong and demonstrable research, analytical, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Determination, tenacity and autonomy to provide a high-grade client experience
  • Possess a competitive and  target-driven mindset
  • Ability to operate within a compliant framework and adhere to regulatory quality standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, listening and presentation skills
  • Strong financial product, market and technical knowledge
  • Discretion and an understanding of the need for client confidentiality
