At Moneyfarm we use technology to make investing and saving accessible to everyone in a simple and transparent way. As a technology team we ensure that our architecture is highly testable and that every step of our process is repeatable and automated.
As Support Engineer you will work actively with our internal Teams, providing the first level of support for Moneyfarm’s systems. You will work actively with other Moneyfarm teams to provide an experience as smooth as possible for our customers.
Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of internal and external customer issues identified by other Moneyfarm teams including CRM and Operations.
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and find solutions to issues to see them through to resolution.Identify trends in issues being raised, working with Technology and Product teams to identify underlying causes and possible solutions.
  • Ensure proper recording and communication of status of issues. Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Follow defined technical support processes.
  • Work with Technology, Product, CRM and Operations teams to make processes more efficient.
  • Document standard solutions and processes in a knowledge base.
  • Essential Requirements
  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a fast growth organisation
  • Proven working experience in enterprise technical support, IT support or as a technical engineer
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, utilities and scripting
  • Experience with SQL
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Preferred Requirements
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with programming in Python, Scala or Javascript/Node.js
