The OpportunityDue to a propelling growth in our direct to consumer business, we are looking for a Digital Merchandise intern to shape the next growth phase of On's online business. You will work in an environment where we make ideas happen fast, decide quickly and give you high levels of responsibility. You understand how digital strategies can improve the website performance and customer journeys. You can naturally communicate with key stakeholders such as software engineers, digital designers, supply chain and business intelligence specialists to ensure the digital strategies are covered from all fronts.
With a strong analytical and business background, you will contribute with a data-driven decision making culture, turn your insights into growth initiatives for increased performance.
The Team
As you might expect from a running brand, the E-Commerce team at On is a fast-paced place to be. This team of interdisciplinary all-stars are used to rapid turnaround times and ambitious targets. From engineers to designers, data scientists and digital marketing specialists, this is the team responsible for creating winning digital products and campaigns that run the length of the purchase funnel. The shared goal? Efficient growth at high speed – what else?
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the overall digital visual merchandise strategy, making sure digital assets and onsite journeys are optimized based on page performance and stock levels in different markets
- Identify cross-selling and recommendation opportunities on the website, work closely with the Product & Growth team to optimize performance
- Understand product lifecycle and trends to support with demand planning and forecasting, in close collaboration with Supply Chain
- Handle inventory requirements and stock transfer to ensure availability of products for digital marketing campaigns and product launches
- You are committed to join On for at least 6 months
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Looker)
- Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL
- Understand digital customer behavior and how visual merchandising can impact interactions and conversions (e.g. conversion rate)
- Understanding of products lifecycle and market trends
- Work experience in the Digital, Ecommerce or Digital Merchandise environment
