We are itembase, a Berlin and San Francisco based company enabling the future of e-commerce. Working with industry leaders like UPS, Mastercard, Magento and Prestashop we’re on a mission to connect all the companies of the e-commerce world in order to provide consumers with an amazing purchasing experience.

Currently over 500 Solution Providers are enabled to provide an awesome service to 250k shops and 40m consumers worldwide through our e-commerce API. After opening up our e-commerce workspace in Berlin, where companies like Trustpilot and MellowBoards find an inspiring e-commerce community, we’ll expand this concept to our US Office and will add experienced e-commerce employees in both locations to help accelerate and manage our growth. Currently we are looking for online marketing enthusiasts to join us and work with us as a Online Marketing Intern.About the internship:
  • Support our marketing team with development and implementation of innovative Marketing strategies in diverse fields like Display, SEM, SEO, Social Media and Email
  • Handling Online Marketing projects independently
  • Be in charge of tracking and reporting KPI’s
  • Conduction of competitor- and trend analysis
  • Work with a performance-driven mindset and strongly motivated to develop professionally
  • Collect and use marketing business intelligence knowledge
  • Assist in execution of overall marketing strategy of the products
  • Optimizing our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels
  • Establishing closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers
  • Assisting the CPO with daily marketing & product management tasks
Requirements:

What we are looking for:

  • Preferred studies: Business, Journalism, Media or Communication Management or Languages
  • Native or excellent in English
  • Strong communicational and outstanding writing skills combined with 'crisp creativity'
  • A good linguistic instinct and feel as well as good sense of grammar
  • Entrepreneurial mindset & tech savvy
  • Basic understanding of online marketing (display, adwords, SEM/SEO)
  • Ideally you have prior internship experience where you have shown dedication and a hands-on mentality
  • Startup & E-Commerce know-how is a plus
