Luca, our Head of Engineering, is looking for an AWS DevOps Lead to join Scalapay as it grows. This role is based in Milan where we would love to see you often.
You will:
- Design and build infrastructure solutions to support existing and emerging products;
- Provide technical assistance to engineering teams to assist in the adoption and implementation of DevOps practices including the adoption of continuous integration (CI) / continuous delivery (CD);
- Automate manual, repetitive tasks related to software build, deployment and operations;
- Develop guidelines and support documentation;
- Contribute to research into existing and emerging technologies to enable DevOps within the wider engineering team;
- Ensure solutions delivered are fit for purpose, meet security, risk and audit requirements, meet stakeholder expectations and do not cause high severity outages;
- Effectively maintaining development tools to create an environment for developers to deliver and release code;
- Operate across engineering, operations and infrastructure teams.
You’ll be great for this role having experience with:
- Developing Infrastructure as Code (Iac) (Terraform preferred);
- Sophisticated CI/CD pipelines;
- Amazon Web Services;
- IAM;
- ECS;
- S3;
- Lambda;
- RDS;
- API Gateway;
- CodeDeploy;
- Scripting - Bash, Python, etc;
- Advanced understanding of networking within AWS VPC;
- NodeJS and Docker vulnerability management;
- Security.
