THE MISSION 
We have just developed a new product to drive checkout conversion for ecommerce merchants, and transform the way customers shop online: Magic Checkout. The product metrics to date and conversion on its sales pipeline have been phenomenal: we are now launching the product in multiple new markets.
To accelerate the company’s growth, we're hiring a Head of Marketing to drive a strong, operational and innovative marketing strategy & execution as we roll out this new product. Think of this as a startup within a startup! 
You would join our Magic team as the first ever Marketing employee of Magic, but don’t worry: you’ll feel right at home from day 1 in the 40+ people Scalapay Paris office & 100+ people Scalapay office in Milan.
You will own the 360º Marketing strategy, from strategic thinking & lead generation planning to content creation.
This is an opportunity for someone entrepreneurial to be on the ground floor of launching the marketing strategy of a new product. 
This role can be based in one of our offices in Europe (Dublin, Milan, Paris or Barcelona) with regular travel expected. We like to think that we're pretty good at offering a job where you can thrive and that fits nicely into a fulfilled life.  
You will: 
- Build & execute our Magic marketing strategy from scratch, and then build a team that can take it to the next level as we grow
- Interface directly with merchants, engineers, go-to-market teams and the founders to turn ideas into reality and deliver marketing campaigns that our customers love
- Own the Magic Checkout marketing vision and roadmap, whilst creating strong alignment and buy-in across the business including the founders 
- Build a lead generation machine to drive merchant acquisition 
- Recruit and lead the marketing team for Magic Checkout in all markets 
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR  
Must have
- You have at least 7+ years of experience in a hands-on marketing role with a multi-country scope
- You have previous experience  in a B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment, with a track record of building and driving lead generation 
- You are creative and have ran brand strategy with data and KPI
- You’re fluent in English and like working in a multicultural environment: you’ll be working across Italy, France, Spain and the UK 
Nice to Have
- You have already worked in the payment space
- You have already experienced a fast-scaling organisation: this is a startup that will grow very fast, you’ll be constantly between the operational & strategic
- You are fluent in Italian, French or Spanish

3) a Case Study to do at home and debrief with Pingki, Scalapay’s GM, to assess your skill set
