The Discovery team is responsible for scalapay.com and our merchant directory across both web and app. The website and the Scalapay app are 2 fundamental assets that are critical in the customer journey because they allow our customers to discover our merchant’s ecosystem and products. They are the platforms for our marketing team to reach our customers and potential merchants. As the product manager you will be the owner of the discovery domain.
Responsibilities:
- Own roadmap for www.scalapay.com (B2B+B2C) across EU countries
- Proactively interact with sales and marketing across countries to gather business requirements and ensure the website delivers on its key metrics and results.
- Improve customer experience and usability of our merchant directory across web and app (you will own both frontend and backend tools)
- Manage your backlog and tickets in Jira.
- Work with external agencies, designers and internal teams.
- Measure and analyse product changes and key metrics and provide guidance to the business in relation to the impacts of the changes.
- Maintains awareness of competitive products and competitors. You will actively collect and analyse data on competitors and help to organise this data into meaningful information.
- Manage website localization 
 
Skills:
- Experience with high traffic ecommerce site (Fashion, Travel etc) driving customer demand and optimising conversion.
- Experience with ecommerce catalogue, search and recommendation tools (ie: Algolia)
- Experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Amplitude etc).
- Good project management skills, where you thrive on being in the middle of a cross-functional team, coordinating the roadmap and getting results
- Experience setting up and driving AB testing initiatives
- Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to key stakeholders
- Fluent in english is a must (you will work teams across multiple countries)
- Native Italian or French speaker
About You
- We are looking for candidates who are passionate about fashion, ecommerce and digital payments and have the following qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in computer science, engineering, or business.
- 2+ years of experience as a digital product manager, with experience managing marketing, saas websites or ecommerce.
- Experience ideally at a software startup or ecomm.
- An insatiable appetite for “making things better”.
