THE MISSION
This is an opportunity to work on filling roles across the entire engineering organisation at Scalapay. You’ll gain valuable experience sourcing for industry-trending positions within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You'll be partnering with our Technical Talent Manager to source the best technical talent in Europe. This will involve coming up with creative solutions to source and engage the best in class engineers across EMEA. We love people who can innovate and think differently so we welcome new ways to source and recruit. You’ll get to work alongside a truly amazing recruiting team where you’ll learn & share best practises.
You will: 
- Work closely with talent acquisition and hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of requirements for open roles, the function and how it fits into the organisation
- Find, engage and activate high-quality passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn, and alternative search techniques
- Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders
- Screen applications to identify the best candidates to meet or keep safe for the future
- Coordinate interview processes, scheduling interviews and follow up with candidates
- Pitch and vet candidates, preparing a warm pre-sold candidate for potential interviews
- Develop a strong understanding of the Scalapay tech stack and a familiarity with the needs of all technical teams
Key Results 
Within 1 month: 
- You understand Scalapay and Magic’s organisation, stack, opportunities and challenges, as well as our culture & values. You can pitch these to a candidate with your eyes closed 
- You have generated at least 10 qualitative leads, and some of the candidates you’ve sourced are being interviewed by the business
Within 3 months:
- You are generating a minimum of 10+ qualitative leads per week
- You’ve improved our sourcing techniques by introducing at least one new tool or process 
Within 6 months: 
- More than 60% of the tech candidates we’ve closed our from your sourcing activities 
- You’ve mapped the market, you’ve developed our employer brand and you’re starting to have a pipeline of future talents that might join us in the future  
- You’ve started to manage entry-level roles by yourself, from start to close 
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must have 
- A Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of sourcing experience with an in-house recruiting team, search firm, or agency, where you’ve delivered high volume and high quality sourcing, and developed sourcing strategies  
- You speak & write both Italian and English fluently, we are hiring across geographies and we talk internally in English at Scalapay 
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a startup/scaleup, things are fast & messy around here and you’ll have to deal with that every day 
- You have a broad understanding of tech & engineering principles, the tools/stack, and their applications. If not, you better do some research before talking to us

- You are smart, tenacious and passionate about your work
- You are an analytical thinker who likes tracking metrics and using this information to influence decisions
- You are a hunter, and don’t stop until you get what you want
