We are looking for a Talent Sourcer to join our People team and manage the first stage of your recruiting process. Talent Sourcer responsibilities include using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs. If you have solid networking skills, know how to source on social media and enjoy learning about different roles. Ultimately, you will proactively identify our hiring needs and help us fill our vacancies with qualified employees.


What you’ll be doing

  • Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Slack, Twitter, Facebook, Stack Overflow and Github)
  • Craft and send recruiting emails
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to determine position requirements
  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search)
  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
  • Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks
  • Promote our employer brand online and offline
  • Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
  • Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
  • Effective time-management abilities

    Our SumUp office in São Paulo is now hiring AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Analyst for our Operational Risk and Compliance team!

    As our AML Analyst, you'll be part of the Compliance Team, working closely with the On-boarding, Risk & Anti-Fraud and Operations teams and will manage the AML agents team. This role will involve quality control, being the point of contact and reporting duties.


    While in this role, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Be the main point of contact AML Agents and the On-boarding, Risk & Anti-Fraud and Operations teams;
  • Sign off on all sanction false positive hits.
  • Maintenance of the PEP log.
  • Ensure the report of all suspicious activities to COAF.
  • Compile reports and statistics and present the same to Operations Management and the MLRO.
  • Draft and maintenance of procedures and training documents linked to Customer Due Diligence and AML.
  • Requirements

    You'll fit perfectly in our team if you:

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and fluent English (Spanish is a plus) - you'll be part of a truly global organization;
  • Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels;

  • Have completed (or are about to complete) a Bachelors in Law, Economics, Business Administration, International Relations or related graduation course.

    SumUp and NCB are forming a Joint-Venture (JV) to supply a revolutionary mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) solution in Saudi Arabia to support the country’s Vision 2030 program. By introducing an mPOS solution hundreds of thousands of small merchants will have access to card acceptance which will greatly reduce the need for cash in the economy and empower small businesses to effectively run their businesses. We are looking for a dynamic professional with an entrepreneurial spirit to take the role as Founder and Managing Director of the newly established entity.

    Job Description


    You will be the Managing Director of the business and report to the Board of the JV. You will effectively be the founder of a company and will be expected to have a wide range of responsibilities including strategic, operational and managerial.


    Strategy: You will own the JV’s P&L and decide on where resources are spent. You will need to engage with SAMA (the financial regulator) to manage the JV’s license, work on creative solutions to innovate processes and report to all stakeholders. You will be expected to define the go-to-market strategy by identifying the right product, acquisition channels and PR activities. You will plan the beta phase and ensure everything is ready to launch the operations, after which you will ensure successful growth to become the leading card acceptance brand in Saudi Arabia.


    Operations: While the global SumUp organization will provide many services to the JV, many tasks will be handled locally. You will need to find the best solution for importing and distributing devices in the country. You will be responsible to hire and set-up a local customer service team. You will serve as a liaison between SumUp, NCB and any other local suppliers. With SumUp’s and NCB’s help, you will be required to think out-of-the-box to revolutionise the way in which merchant services are handled in Saudi Arabia today.


    Management: You will be required to hire and build an organisation required to operate locally. Operations, Customer Service and Business Development will be run locally and you will need to manage a growing team of individuals in Riyadh. You will be expected to hire the first candidates yourself, develop individuals and create incentive plans adequate to your employee’s needs.


    Requirements

  • Outstanding degree or MBA from a top university.
  • 4-8 years work experience experience in a top-tier consulting firm, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Private Equity and/or in start-ups
  • Critical/Analytical thinking as well as communication skills;
  • Beyond your managerial skills, you have strong structuring and analytical skills with the ability to set up efficient business process and manage a P&L;
  • You are independent, entrepreneurial and use hands-on approach for problem solving;
  • You have strong knowledge of the internet and online marketing strategies.
  • You are drives and ambitious to perform coupled with a desire to learn about the payments industry;
  • You have international experience;
  • You have strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills; as part of the selection process, you will be required to use both
  • Excellent language skills (verbally and written) in English and Arabic.

    The Job

    We are looking for an experienced and passionate Information Security Analyst to help continuously improve and maintain the security of our global card payments business at our SumUp office in São Paulo, Brazil. You will work closely with our group Information Security Officer, defining our security strategy across all areas and throughout the SumUp group.     Requirements

  • Successfully completed your studies in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Computer Science with 3+ years in an Information Security related area
  • Hold a certified professional education; CISSP or similar is preferred

    The Job

    As Sales Team Leader you are part of a growing and independent team within the company that is building an entirely new business. Your job is to lead the Sales Team by challenging them and offering ongoing coaching, support, and professional development while keeping the all relevant KPIs in check. As Sales Team Leader, you will report to the VP Point of Sale.
