Our SumUp office in Berlin is currently hiring for the position of System Administrator.
The IT Support team ensures that all SumUpers have the right tools and network structure to excel in their jobs. With a positive attitude and efficient problem-solving skills, they are always in touch with the internal users, answering their queries and providing them with the necessary hardware and software accesses. SumUp is growing (we are over 270 employees in Berlin and counting!), so must IT Support to ensure our operational excellence.
What you’ll be doing in this position
- Monitor, manage and provide first-level support for SumUp’s office system
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve network problem
- Assess network performance to ensure that it meets the present and future needs of the business, providing network planning recommendations to management
- Provide maintenance support on workstations and laptops (Windows and MacOS
- Monitor stability, availability, and performance of corporate systems by analyzing them to identify issues and problem
- Assist the implementation of hardware and software change
- Keep track of hardware and software changes in an inventor
- Organize and execute corporate IT visio
- Manage a cross-location team
Requirements
Your Profile
- Hands-on experience configuring routers, switches, and firewalls
- Strong working familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems and MacO
- Experience writing documentation or standard operating procedures related system administratio
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
