Opportunity

We are looking for a Head of Analytics that will:

  • have direct responsibility over the analytics team composed by 5+ professionals
  • have plenty of visibility in order to support other company’s teams as a business partner
  • run multiple projects in parallel in order to improve the core of the business model towards customers, shoppers and retailers
  • have the chance to cover the full analytics spectrum, from data infrastructure to reporting to predictive analytics
  • practice on a variety of topics such as market sizing exercises, multivariate testing, forecasting modeling, performance deep dives, web analytics, data warehouse optimization, data science and ETL processes
  • work in a young and dynamic team, in one of the most promising Italian start-up
Requirements:
  • At least 2/3 years of experience as the Head of Analytics for a 100% digital company or start up, and more in general 5+ years in similar duties
  • Master degree in quantitative or analytic subjects
  • Capacity to translate quantitative date in business strategies
  • Good problem solving skills and experience in the analytic management of problems and strategies
  • Business oriented frame of mind and strategic mind-set
  • Experience in dynamic and challenging environment
  • Strong strategic and consulting skills
  • Good communicative skills, oral and written, and ability to transfer the technical know-how to internal business partners
  • Good technical know-how and confidence with the main analytic tools
  • Experience in the management and analyses of complex dataset
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, in a highly competitive market
  • Good people management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize and optimize data science and data engineering process
  • Good knowledge of the digital word, with its peculiarity and problems, and ability to have a broad horizon over company’s main concerns

We are looking for professionals with a solid experience as Head of Analytics for a digital native company and with a strategic and proactive mindset. The professional must speaks English fluently and have a deep knowledge of the most important analytics tools
