In this role as a Product Acquisition Analyst located in our EMEA regional head office in Stabio,
 Switzerland, you’ll report into the Operations Director. You will assist the Operations department on Purchase Order management from creation to receipt and keep PO status under control, by working closely with sourcing offices and promptly reacting if any issues arise.     

You will ensure optimal Orders Coverage by matching Sales Order requested ship date with Purchase Orders receipt dates by working with departments involved in shipping (Logistics Dept) and receiving process (QC and Receiving).    

Among your accountabilities:

* Track buy confirmation’s process for all sources (International/US/EU) sourcing offices in line with Planning expectations;

* Work with sourcing and Bangalore PA team to assure POs on the system are properly maintained and monitored in our system assuring they are acknowledged promptly through NGC;

* Monitor production status also through weekly conference calls with sourcing offices;

* Solicit vendors/sourcing offices in order to have goods shipped on time, advise CS/Sales/Planning in case of big delays and amendments on PO quantities;

* Assure NGC delay reason codes being properly maintained by vendors/sourcing offices;

* Assure urgent shipments being followed up timely and properly in order to better meet customer requests;

* Give the vendors authorisation to ship the goods giving them the shipping instructions;

* Monitor shipment status in all steps from Origin to Destination Warehouse.

* Work with warehouse in order to have the goods received correctly, monitoring the shortages after receipt of the goods, including prioritising receipts in peak periods as needed;

* Ensure PO status is always updated in the system and PO due dates not overdue;

* Assure all critical issues are promptly elevated to supervisor;

* Participate in tracking and publishing weekly and monthly reports    

What’s on your cv:

* University degree or equivalent

* Good communication skills in English

* Strong Excel skills; high level of analytical and organisational skills
