We’re currently looking for a 3D Apparel Technology Specialist to join our Napapijri team in Stabio, reporting to the Product Development Director. In this role you will be a 3D software superuser, who understands the needs and is able to streamline the process with her / his 3D technical and apparel knowledge. You will be the go-to person for operational, technical and trainings tasks throughout the different projects and seasons: a role that will lead the digital transformation within Napapijri.

Responsibilities:

* Lead 3D transformation within the division

* Challenge, empower, train and connect people making them part of the digital journey

* Active and creative problem solver for users

* Be the go-to person for technical issues

* Keep up to date with the industry, scanning for new solutions or technologies

* Ensures key calendar milestone and dates for product creation team are met

* Identify opportunities: lead quick response projects and help deliver deadlines

* Responsible for tool testing and implementation within the division

* Initiate workshops and feedback sessions across users

* Partners with vendors on process mapping, validate design-to-cost process, help build/update best practices

* Lead testing of new tools within the division

* Build future blue print for strategy and process

* Be the main point of contact between brand, sourcing teams and VFA 3D teams

* Share best practice and learnings: develop new tools, methods and quality standards within the NAPAPIJRI 3D strategy

* Be part of the integration for PLM / PDM and other data collection points

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience in 3D design tools handling products in the assigned category in equal industry

* Advanced knowledge of Browzwear

* Knowledge or understanding of CLO, Substance, STAGE, Sketchfab, Unreal engine as used for gaming industries

* Understanding of PLM / PDM System

* Advanced knowledge of Apparel construction and patterning

* In-depth knowledge of production garment construction and manufacturing

* Advanced Knowledge of material construction and related testing

* Ability to evaluate digital prototypes for fit, materials, drape and color

* Advanced Knowledge of wear and physical product testing

* Knowledge of materials / fabrics, fit, function, construction and and use requirements

* Very good knowledge of MS office, CAD and understanding of Product Data Management Systems

* Knowledge of product creation processes

* Fluent English, both in written and spoken

* Open minded, bright and enthusiastic personality
