In this role as the Operations Manager located in our regional head office in Stabio, Switzerland, you’ll be reporting into the Operations Director.


You’ll be responsible for the following activities:

1. Drive and execute EMEA Demand planning process

* Drive the strategic planning process to support the business plans.

* Responsible of creating and tracking the seasonal Demand plans making sure all critical factors are kept in consideration and in full alignment with Sales, DTC, Merchandiser and Finance, Finance

* Overview and drive forecast process at product level in all it phases

* Review and challenge country forecasts   

2. Manage production planning, inventory planning and forecasting

* Oversee the production planning process to deliver a balanced production in line with targets and global Supply Planning and Sourcing plans.

* Decide on target stock profiles defined by product category and style/colour.

* Accountable for the overall inventory plan in line with financial targets

* Drive the direct responsibility for purchasing of finished goods, considering financial implications.

* Accountable for identifying distressed inventory and for follow-up on disposal plans to maximise the value

* Establish, discuss and communicate priorities for balancing production and sourcing

* Work with PA to optimize ship mode in accordance with budget constraints

* Drive forecast and planning timing in the line calendar

* Review and challenge country forecasts

* Analyse and suggest possible systems improvements

* Establish control-related standards and procedures

* Assess line productivity thru a regular SKU analysis   


4. ‘Ship the month’ process:

* Coordinate the creation with Sales Operation and Finance the monthly, quarterly and annual revenue plan in all its components:

- Revenue

- Whls prebook-at once

- DTC

- Distressed

* Track the revenue plan and make sure all SC partners are aligned (DC, Logistic, CS)   


5. People manager

Create an environment where employees are encouraged to perform at their potential and where diversity is respected and encouraged, together with managing personal growth and development of direct reports.   


6. Key relationship driver

* Create, drive and sustain highly effective and influential key relationships with internal and external partners that will deliver the business objectives


* Partner with product management to ensure assortment plans and product grids are produced in line with requirements

* Link with sales management and operations director to get better insight on sales and forecast

* Work closely with local country sales managers to ensure effective execution of special retail requests

* Work with IB Global Supply Planning and VF sourcing to ensure exit dates in line with agreed lead times   


7. Process Management: drive and influence to implement

* Ensure that the seasonal business objectives are clear to all team members. Allocate resources and monitor progress to ensure that deadlines and inventory targets are met and that product is delivered according to requirements

* Ensure smooth and effective execution against forecast calendar deadlines

* Creates and maintains Inventory Roll for both brands ensuring plans are in line with guidelines

* Provide input on planning, sourcing, supply chain issues   


What’s on your cv:

* University degree

* Minimum 5 years experience with a strong background in different areas of the supply chain, ideally within forecasting, planning, finance customer service.

* Fluent English. The knowledge of any other European language is an advantage.
