We are looking for an outstanding Senior Credit Controller to join our VF Multibrand Team in Calverton, Nottingham.

Let’s talk about the role!

As a  Senior Credit Controller you will assess and control the level of credit risk and to ensure that all customer accounts are accurately and promptly maintained, ensuring that efficient release of orders to maximise sales whilst having regard to the Company credit policy.

You will provide focus, motivation and development to your team whilst also fulfilling the following aspects of the role:

• Assisting Team Leader in setting monthly targets for individual controllers and the team as a whole, monitoring performance during the month and offering assistance where necessary.

• Providing support and cover for Credit Controllers based on business needs (i.e. vacancy within the team).

• Coach and train members of your team and provide feedback to the Credit Controller in order to improve skill set.

• Be the first point of escalation for your team and for external stakeholders.

• Ensure Credit policy and processes are followed up correctly within the team and support with internal audit queries.

• Provide feedback to Team Leader for the appraisals of your team members, to agree and review action plans and assist with feedback sessions and provide coaching where necessary.

• Deputise for the Team Leader in times of absence.

• Assist the Team Leader in the recruitment process by participating in interviews and in the decision-making process.
