Vipera is seeking for a skilled Systems Engineer to join our Operations team to to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure. As a junior member of the team, the candidate will support local and remote end-users on infrastructure and applications troubleshooting. This is a full-time position based in Milan.What you will do:
Work in a team of talented and passionate people. You will be part of a team of engineers with strong technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.
What you bring to light:
• Fluent English (i.e. ability to manage customer calls in English and ability to write documentation in
English)
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent culture
• Technical aptitude
• Aptitude in problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience Linux and Windows based environments
• Aptitude in documentation and procedure design
• Availability to work-on call
• Availability to travel
• Experience Linux operating system will be considered a plus.
