Our vision is to be on everyone’s home screen. We want to establish market leadership in story-driven casual games and create joyful everyday experiences for our players.

As our next Game Writer, you are skilled at building worlds, creating exciting story hooks, and bringing memorable characters to life in concise, clear, characterful dialogue. You can work with artists and narrative designers to ensure that the game’s narrative vision is carried through the game. You understand your audience and can put on your “player hat” to ensure the story remains entertaining. You understand the limits and are excited by the opportunities of storytelling in the free-to-play space.

What you’ll be doing
  • Help design and tell serialized, character-driven stories using free-to-play game mechanics
  • Collaborate with the team on worldbuilding and character creation
  • Write dialogue and other in-game texts
  • Give and receive feedback in a writers’ room setting
  • Champion the game’s story vision
  • Give input on art and story-related features
  • Play competitors’ games and look for new storytelling techniques & opportunities
  • Who we are looking for
  • Experience working as a professional writer, telling stories
  • Fluent English skills
  • Interest in video game storytelling
  • Experience writing for games is a plus
  • Experience working in a writers’ room is a plus
  • Ability to adapt style to match the project’s current tone and character voices 
  • Skills and experience to quickly turn around feedback-based revisions

    As a Senior Technical Artist at Wooga, you will join a small core team of talented colleagues, helping to support both the development of new games and live titles.

    You will be a key member of the Art discipline who can listen and communicate effectively in order to bring creative solutions to achieving the Art vision for our games and contributing to the teams’ Art tooling across the studio.

    Some of your responsibilities include:

  • You will design, implement, maintain and document the art creation pipeline,
  • You will extend DCC packages to streamline and optimize art creation processes,
  • You will seek out challenges in existing pipelines and propose potential solutions,
  • You will work with engineers and lead artists to implement fast-performing and beautiful nextgen rendering techniques on mobile.  
  • About you

  • Deep knowledge of Unity, C#, and Python.
  • You have more than 5 years games industry experience
  • Excellent shader writing skills (GLSL, HLSL, CG, etc.), knowledge of the graphics pipeline and its technical constraints on mobile,
  • Experience in developing for mobile platforms (iOS, Android),
  • Extensive knowledge of all stages of game development, ranging from modeling to texturing and special effects,
  • Experience with developing for 3D packages (Modo, Maya) and extensive Photoshop scripting knowledge,
  • Excellent debugging, troubleshooting and communication skills,
  • Experience with source control systems (git/plastic scm).
  • Nice to have:

  • Experience developing for Shotgun, FTrack or other production tracking software is a big plus,
  • Substance Designer / Painter experience,
  • Knowledge of procedural workflows (i.e. Houdini),
  • PyQt/PySide experience.

    As a Motion Graphics Designer at Wooga, you breathe life into visual assets. With love for beautiful animations, you will be working hand in hand with the design and illustration teams, aiding with the creation of assets, bringing them to life and delivering high-quality and innovative marketing content.

    This is a role for a creative individual with excellent aesthetic judgment, a great eye for detail and a passion for timing.  

    You will be an integral part of every stage in the creative process, from conceptualization to the final asset delivery.

    Note: This is an on-site 3-month freelance contract position.

    Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Creating beautiful and thoughtful animations for a diverse array of media, including smartphones, tablets, and the web,
  • Working closely with illustrators, designers and marketers to understand the project scope and objectives.
  • Preparing conceptual layouts for the motion graphics project.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
  • Assisting in the creation of animation storyboards,
  • Assist in selecting appropriate audio, graphics and animation styles for the project.
  • Encoding, converting, and editing videos as well as adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics,
  • Supporting the design and illustration teams with photo editing, bespoke illustration and icon design.

    About the job

    Wooga seeks an analytical, enthusiastic marketing professional to join its marketing team as a Junior User Acquisition Manager. In this role you will help us spending hundreds of thousands of dollars per month across multiple channels – Facebook, Google, Snap and others – in pursuit of Wooga’s user acquisition goals. In addition to managing user acquisition campaigns, this individual will also support the marketing team’s internal analysis pipeline, producing regular creative performance reports for the marketing team’s use.

    The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in economics, marketing, or another relevant field and has a deep interest in mobile marketing industry. Relevant work experience would be a plus, but not necessary.

    What you'll be doing
  • Support the team in managing campaigns across a variety of gaming platforms and optimize the performance of campaigns on an ongoing basis
  • Experiment, test and analyse campaigns
  • Use data-driven insights to enhance performance through targeting and segmentation
  • Support in the production of the marketing team’s internal analysis and external reports
  • Learn and grow into a full fledged UA Manager, and eventually own budget and execution of a whole Wooga game.
