    As a Product Marketing Manager for New Games you know that it’s critical to produce and deliver the right game at the right time for the right set of players. You are aware of the challenging casual games market and the expectations of a demand generation player-base.

    You will be responsible for defining the market position of our new games within the context of their overall vision and product strategy. This includes conducting in-depth competitor analysis, market- and player-research, that you then use to strategically position our games and help our product teams to make informed decisions for brand, product and feature development. You know how to translate our games’ benefits for player- and market-understanding and have heard a thing or two about the importance of a solid Brand Development Strategy. With this you will develop systems and best practises to successfully bring our New Games all the way from a new idea through to soft launch.

    What you will be doing
  • You will work with the Marketing Team and closely with our Product Teams on building and establishing high-level product- and marketing-strategies
  • Define the market position of our new games within the context of their overall vision and product strategy
  • Help to evaluate the strategic direction of our products from the Marketing side, as well as business- and market opportunities
  • Brand Development Strategy. You will work closely with our Game Teams to find their game’s niche in the market and build a strategy around it
  • In-depth competitor analysis, market dynamics and player research
  • Identify key issues for customers, gathering competitive intelligence and running quantitative analysis to help define development priorities
  • Positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation & go-to-market strategy
  • Be a product evangelist and play an integral role in preparing the Team for successful product launches
  • Create focus within the project team; guide them in priority-setting, eliminate blockers, facilitate execution
  • Build systems and processes to optimise the pipeline for our new games

  • Relevant working experience in Product Marketing with at least one successful soft-launch under your belt
  • Industry experience in Gaming or Advertising/ Media (mobile F2P casual games a plus)

    As a Frontend Engineer (React.js) at Wooga you will work independently in a fairly small team that empowers our game teams by building all of the tools that they need. The products you build are used internally and empower other Woogas. With a generalist but broad technical knowledge ranging from javascript, react, typescript and electron (Atom Shell) to working with services like aws, google and github, you help us provide the tools our game teams need to keep bringing delightful story driven games to millions of players.

    As a member of our tools team you will work on projects including but not limited to:

  • Building internal dashboards aggregating live data from different sources (google, github, artifactory, s3) by combining it with a state-of-art bootstrap react interface (no css!) to observe and interact with our custom build infrastructure for our own sdks, games and documentations.
  • Working on internal tools based on typescript, electron, react and bootstrap to drive content for our story-driven games.
  • Extending our internal tools & pipelines to improve Marketing and User Acquisition KPIs.
  • Providing Git version-control support.
  • Configuring and optimizing webpack builds.
  • Developing new APIs.
  • About you
  • You have a few years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Proficient user of typescript, javascript and react.
  • Experienced with writing tests using Mocha/Chai/Jest/ enzyme.
  • Experienced with API design.
  • Passionate about games.
  • Basic experience with the unity game engine, a plus.
  • Your written and spoken English is good - no German skills are required for the job, but we will help you learn if you want!

    Wooga is looking for an experienced customer care specialist to join our team. We’re looking for someone who will independently own all aspects of creating the best possible experience for our players. You’ll be in charge of one specific game, proactively developing and continually evolving the ideal strategy for supporting that title and the millions of people who enjoy playing it every day.

    You will collaborate directly with developers and other stakeholders, be supported by a great team of in-house co-workers, and coordinate a multi-language team of outsourcers who will put your strategy into practice. You will be charged with the responsibility of making sure we stay close to our players, which is one of our core values. 

    Responsibilities

  • Independently organize and oversee customer care process for one live game
  • Set structure, tone, and best practices for player interactions for your game
  • Ensure your game team maintains a close relationship with our players.
  • Coordinate, supervise, and conduct QA for external (outsourcing) team
  • Provide top-tier service to our VIP players
  • Monitor, report, and present relevant KPIs
  • Create and maintain game FAQ and internal game knowledge base

    At Wooga, the localization team strives to provide translations of the highest quality. As one of the team’s localization managers, you will make it possible for people around the world to enjoy our games. We are a small international team bringing our passion for languages and games together. Working in an agile environment allows us to constantly review and optimize our tools and processes, ensuring the same fun, natural experience in all languages we support.

    What you’ll be doing
  • Managing the entire localization and LQA process of our games, emails, fan page posts, websites, and FAQs through various communication and management tools
  • Ensuring correct, consistent, and (most importantly) fun translations
  • Managing external vendors and freelancers to make sure we have the right partner for each project
  • Monitoring and measuring the quality of translations
  • Creating style guides and briefs for external partners
  • Researching language trends and performance using internal and external databases
  • Analysing and presenting localization data to internal and external stakeholders
  • Using agile work methods for improved teamwork and quality
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders inside and outside the game teams to ensure effective collaboration
  • About you
  • You can demonstrate several years of successfully managing multiple projects within a localization or translation department
  • Ideally, you have gathered this experience in a company focused on mobile games or other form of mobile entertainment
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Knowledge of tools and processes in localization, e.g. Crowdin, MemoQ etc.
  • Passion for languages, their quirks, and national idiosyncrasies
  • You have an interest in games, ideally casual mobile games!
  • Working knowledge of two languages; excellent written and spoken English. Additional languages used at Wooga would be a bonus!
