We are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join us in developing our next-generation wearable device, If you are independent, pragmatic, goal-oriented, are able to achieve results in a timely manner, and also happen to be passionate about making a difference in the world, read on.You will work directly under our Director of HW Development on a device that marries cutting-edge sensors, elegant industrial design, and precision engineering into a world-beating wearable product with the potential to help people all over the world who struggle with neurological disorders.
You'll also be working with an experienced, international development team with key contributors in Milano, Boston, and Seoul.

You will
Help with the circuit design and schematic entry for Empatica's products, prototypes, and test machines
Peer review our designs
Help with moving designs through the protyping and production phases
Help with the bring-up, test, and validation of prototypes and pre-production devices
Design PCBs for products, prototypes, and test machines
Write firmware for prototypes and test machines
Required QualifIcations
Bachelors in Electronic Engineering (or related field + equivalent hands-on experience)
0-2 years experience on the development of electronic devices
Knowledge of circuit design and schematic entry, and of related SW tools (e.g. Orcad Capture, Altium Designer)
Knowledge of components (MCUs, PMICs, BLE radio, sensors) commonly used in embedded systems
Knowledge of basic simulation techniques (Spice analog/digital, signal integrity)
Preferred Qualifications
Masters in Electronics Engineering
Knowledge of lab instrumentation: oscilloscope, digital signal analyzer, power supplies
Experience with the design of embedded, portable, miniaturized electronics
Knowledge of basic techniques to comply with EMC/EMI regulations
Experience with PCB design, and related SW tools (e.g. Altium Designer)
Hands-on soldering skills
Experience with the development of FW for MCUs (Cortex-M in particular)
Knowledge of/experience on problems related to mech/elec integration
Scripting/programming skills (C, C++, C#, Bash, Python)
