• Own the HR function, do everything from maintaining records and documents to developing strategic projects and HR processes• Responsible for the entire visa pipeline: carry out all transactions and submit all relevant documents related to visas and liaise with our immigration attorney and HQ team
• Work cross-functionally with the international HR team to establish a HR function that integrates the FlixBus cultural and philosophical DNA within the local team
• Develop all HR policies and programs aligned with FlixBus and compliant with all applicable laws ( i.e. recruiting, compensation, trainings, …)
• Stay up to date with the newest recruiting trends, updated HR regulations and laws and ensure FlixBus' adherence to all legal and compliance standards
• Act as point person for all 3rd party providers included but not limited to payroll, 401(k) and insurance
• Perform other exciting duties to launch the FlixBus business and grow our team! • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Psychology or related field of study, a minimum of five (5) years of HR generalist experience in a startup environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• PHR certification and Master's degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred
• Relational, resourceful, highly organized, perceptive and strong ability to manage a broad range of both proactive and reactive projects
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office, Outlook and startup tools (i.e. Trello, Yammer, Slack, Skype,…)
• A passion for the HR field
