As a FlixBus Junior Business Development Manager, you will be establishing strategic relationships and will be key to the takeoff of this journey!What you will spearhead:
• You will identify new business opportunities and develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders based on mutual values, respect and trust
• You take on the exciting challenge of all strategic and operational responsibilities required in starting up those partnerships
• You collect and analyze data about target markets, industry and company to help develop innovative strategies to acquire new business partners
• You participate actively in the preparation of negotiations with potential partners
• You collaborate with our international team
• You perform other exciting duties related to setting up the FlixBus business in the US as assigned • Your Degree: You have a bachelor's degree or a master's degree in business administration, economics, engineering or a related field from a Top University
• Your relevant experience: You have 1-3 years of experience in a strategic, financial, consultative or business development position with B2B experience or any combination of equivalent experience
• You are comfortable in a startup environment: entrepreneurial spirit, full of ambition, roll with the punches attitude, you leave nothing on the table and get your hands dirty!
• You are pragmatic: you are focused on developing concrete solutions to fix root-cause problems and/or foresee them before they even happen!
• You are highly analytical: you have the business and financial acumen to understand complex models and use that information to develop strategic plans
• You are an effective and adaptable communicator: you ask effective questions and have great listening skills to engage with key external stakeholders and communicate openly and respectfully with the Flixbus team
• You negotiate like a pro! You can anticipate stakeholders' tactics, motivations, sensitivities and intentions.
• Spanish speaking is a plus
