Traffic Control & Customer Service Agent (Part-Time) M/F

• Pro-actively manage traffic situations of interstate/intrastate bus service, timely inform passengers about issues such as delays and malfunctions and quickly implement alternative solutions• Respond to inquiries and assist with investigating and resolving customer concerns
• Respond-to and coordinate emergency responses
• Continuously strive to optimize operational processes to guarantee the quality of our services
• Coordinate personnel responsibilities and vehicle deployment in case of any changes
• Interact with all parties of the FlixBus fleet, especially with our drivers and bus partners
• Maintain compliance with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, environmental policies and government regulations at all time
• Provide ongoing support to the Traffic Control & Customer Service Senior Manager and take on additional tasks to maintain excellence in the Traffic Control and Customer Service department • At least two (2) years' professional experience working in one or more of the following capacities: dispatch, call center, customer service or hospitality
• Previous dispatching experience not required, but a big plus
• Friendly, patient, professional and personable with a friendly demeanor at all times
• Ability to listen effectively and understand driver/passenger needs in order to provide creative solutions
• Extremely detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking skills
• Available for part-time employment
• Flexibility and ability to work untraditional hours (24/7)
• Passion for public transportation and strong interest in the bus market
• Adapts easily to new technology software to perform job functions; skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently with little supervision to make critical decisions in the interest of safety and customer service
