Stress from your landlord? Our selected partner lawyers will solve your renting problems – legally secure, fast and cost-effective. MieterEngel ist the new Tenancy Protection Club, a young online platform that offers easy solutions for rental problems. Our goal: care-free living for all tenants.

We are looking for a Growth Hacker (d/m/w) to help us gain more customers. You will think about how to attract more customers and generate additional revenue by running quick tests to verify your ideas and managing and executing the implementation. We are looking for doers who can set up and run the whole test by themselves and will not stop until the customers are in.

Your tasks as Growth Hacker:

• Talk to our customers and help out in the sales team to get a better grip of who our customers are
• Quantitatively analyse tracking data with tools like Google Analytics
• Brainstorm ideas on how to get new customers based on both qualitative and quantitative understanding of our customers
• Develop your ideas into full-fledged tests and align them with other stakeholder like our service and sales team
• Write texts and generate landing pages with online tools to run the tests
• Find creative solutions to be able to implement the whole test without e. g. needing a software developer by your side
• Convert successful tests into requirement documents to bring them into our main processes

We put much more weight on your actual skills than your formal education. Practical experience, eagerness to learn and to give your best are of higher importance than what is written on a piece of paper. Knowledge of the tools we use is highly beneficial.

Language

At MieterEngel we work in an international environment. Therefore the main language spoken is English. Nonetheless our product is currently focussed on the German market so speaking German is a requirement for this job.

Our team

We are a ~20 people working together. You will work most closely with our marketing analyst and our other growth hacker as well as two of the founders. In addition we are working with multiple freelancers and agencies for topics like SEO or Google AdWords.

Our processes

We work in a weekly Growth process where each week old tests are evaluated and new ones are started. We use Jira to manage work.

Our process is based on actual work. We don't believe in theoretical questions and instead focus on the actual work you will be doing at our company. Our process consists of the following steps:

The case study

The case is based on a problem we had to actually solve. It has been simplified to avoid unnecessary repetitive work. Feel free to use any methods to solve the case study that you would use during actual work. This includes e. g. googling or asking questions.

Salary

We offer a salary based on your skill level of 30,000 to 40,000 EUR per year, after a trial period at reduced salary.

Starting time

We are flexible on starting arrangements but will give preference to candidates with similar skillset who are able to start earlier.
