Role description & responsibilities

• Be a technical leader by setting the technical vision and drive its adoption, including test strategy, architecture, best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with other technical leaders, onsite and around the world, on best practices and cross-cutting engineering concerns
• Write and maintain clear and understandable engineering artifacts (designs, flow charts, documentation, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with the developers who are using what you build on a daily basis to gather input and create a strong feedback loop where they can also contribute

Main requirements

• You have been building excellent digital products for 6+ years in a cross-functional team
• You have sound experience in JavaScript and Java development
• You have sound experience on the Spring ecosystem and React
• You have sound experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• You have sound experience with Azure (or AWS) and Kubernetes
• You understand Machine Learning concepts and deployments
• You understand event driven, microservices, micro-frontends and serverless architectures
• You already worked in agile environments
• You're speaking a fluent English

• You're already located in Berlin
• You speak either German or French
• You already have some experience in FinTech
