Position Scope

As the Product Manager, Mobile you will be responsible for driving the vision and execution of the mobile product roadmap, writing specs, designing wireframes, analyzing data and interfacing directly with our cross-functional team of designers, educational experts, analysts and engineers.

You will be responsible for managing both of our mobile products (iOS and Android apps), impacting the lives of million of people – everyday, you will be pushing features to more than 30 million users in over 150 countries who are learning new languages to enhance their lives.

What does a Product Manager do at busuu?

You’ll understand the requirements of various stakeholders to drive new product features, working across the business to write user stories and acceptance criteria. You will own product ideas, overseeing prototyping, testing and ensuring prompt and quality delivery.

You know how to innovate through minimalism, possess strong communications skills, can influence without authority, and are just absolutely ruthless at prioritizing what tasks should make it into the next sprint or release.

What we’re looking for from a Product Manager at busuu!

• Experience designing mobile products, feeling comfortable giving visual input and enjoying the creative aspects.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Kissmetrics and Google Analytics, relishing in quantitative analysis.
• Strong UX knowledge, including experience working with wire-framing tools and rapid prototyping techniques.
• Experience working with engineers, with an understanding of mobile technology.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, in particular SCRUM.
• Experience in Jira and Agile board management.
• Proven track record in mobile product management within a fast paced, multi-national fast-growing online business.
• Experience managing a mobile educational product or mobile game.
• Multilingual (desirable).
