HotelTonight makes it remarkably easy to book great hotels at amazing rates for tonight, tomorrow and beyond. Our goal is to be the premier and most loved way to book a place to stay and we’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to help do just that.
WITHIN 1 MONTH YOU WILL:
  • Develop strong understanding of HT’s value proposition, available solutions and data sets to have meaningful conversations with prospective partners
  • Understand supplier needs and competitive landscape in order to position HT effectively in marketplace
  • Become familiar with prospect list of top management companies and hotel chains
  • Seek and establish warm introductions with potential partners
  • WITHIN 3 MONTHS YOU WILL:
  • Manage overall pipeline and update internal stakeholders
  • Develop materials to effectively showcase our product offering
  • Conduct conference calls and in-person meetings with potential partners to understand their needs
  • Conduct analysis to determine revenue potential and desired business terms
  • Implement creative strategies to overcome objections to achieve desired results
  • Negotiate win-win business terms and sign contracts with new partners
  • Work with our operations team to develop implementation plan and timelines
  • WITHIN 12 MONTHS YOU WILL:
  • Work cross-functionally with Data & Strategy, Product, Legal, and Finance to resolve issues and identify new solutions
  • Work with stakeholders across the company on short and long­ term strategic projects with the goal of strengthening our hotel marketplace
  • Represent HT and meet new partners at industry events
  • WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a fast growing startup, and/or consulting, finance
  • Travel or Hospitality experience preferred
  • Client facing experience; account management or sales experience needed
  • Experience managing sophisticated, multi-faceted partnerships & negotiations
  • Proven track record in navigating complex deals, terms, and contracting processes
  • Strong ability to collaborate, but also to prioritize and manage yourself autonomously
  • Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • A love of networking & fostering new connections
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
