You will be involved primarily in the testing of the ALTIMIS application which is part of the “Wealth in One” (WIO) application suite.

WIO is a superior, multi-currency, multi-channel stockbroking and portfolio management software front-to-back platform. It offers a digital & integrated, straight through approach to all aspects of investment management and can be delivered as a fully managed solution. Its unique approach and managed delivery, combined with a powerful range of functionality spanning the front, middle and back office, makes it a market-leading product in the UK.


Leveraging your problem-solving skills, you will work, in collaboration with the ALTIMIS team, on a wide variety of business & technical issues in a fast pace environment that is managed using AGILE processes. You will report to the Software Engineering Manager.


Activities


As Junior Test Analyst will assess software quality through manual testing with an ultimate view to moving aspects of the business to automation. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.


Your role includes:


  • Review and analyze system specifications
  • Create test cases and analyze results
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing

Requirements


  • 1+ year as a QA tester or similar role
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Knowledge of test management software is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Testing qualification desirable but not essential
