Backend Engineer - Ad Tech

With +30 engineers based in the heart of Berlin, our mission is to tell the world’s football stories through a stable, scalable and reliable stack. At Onefootball, you will be working in agile, cross functional and self-organized teams to deliver the ultimate product experience for football fans. You will help to create, promote and disseminate standards, gaining valuable experience simultaneously. Our main systems consists of micro service architecture with golang applications serving iOS, Android and Web clients. We have a strong foundation of shipping code through containers using cloud native technologies, such as Kubernetes. You can check our Stackshare page, too. 

Your role

• Working closely with the AdOps Sales team as well as enabling all other product development teams
• Implementing a performant, safe, personalized and effective experience with the most relevant ads and appropriate revenues 
• Designing, writing and documenting the new Ad Tech services, including backend and frontend.

Your profile

• You know how to write SOLID and clean code
• You never stop learning and are keen to mentor others
• You bring knowledge in developing micro services with Go and you have used Python and Django before
• You have experience in writing REST Services, You are familiar with SQL and Redis
• Experience with DDD techniques and Ad Tech background are a plus.
