Through the experienced job of its professional Sail Hunters, Sailogy finds and evaluates harbor facilities and ship owners, ranking charter companies for quality, reliability, and comfort. Sailogy's platform provides immediate access to more than 20,000 yachts of different types in 2,000 handpicked destinations. 


- Designing, writing and testing well-structured, maintainable and idiomatic clean code

- Develop RESTful API services from current Django monolith

- Design and deliver fast, scalable and secure micro-services in continuous integration

- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver fully-integrated features

- Proposing effective solutions to improve R&D company stack


- Passion for coding, web technologies, and thrilled by challenges

- Strong understanding of server-side technologies such as: Python, Django, Flask, Celery, and databases like: PostgreSQL, MongoDB

- Confident with modern web patterns: SOA, RESTful APIs, WebSocket

- Conversant with version control systems: mostly Git

- Familiar with Docker and environment encapsulation

- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

Bonus points

- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud concepts

- Familiar with AsyncIO library

- Skilled in algorithms and data structures is a big plus

- Experience with modern Javascript frameworks like React and Vue.js


Annual salary is 40-50k CHF

Hiring process

- Qualified candidates will have a short welcome interview 

- Based on experience, candidates have to solve a coding exercise 

- Once the assignment is done, a technical interview with the code-review will be scheduled

- Finally, good fit candidates will receive a proposal and will have the final interview with the CEO


The role is based in Chiasso (CH)
