Lead Designer

Description

For our Milan (or Verona) office we are looking for a Lead Designer to lead our small but mighty design team, and to push the whole design area to the top level that our customers deserve. 

You will strongly contribute to the growth of our customer base and their engagement. You will work alongside motivated and passionate people, in an environment that will allow you to test your skills and enhance them.

What you will do

• You will take ownership of the design team and all its processes and outputs.

• You will work with design leadership to refine and communicate design vision and strategy across the organization and evangelize design thinking.

• You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, business, marketing and data analysts in order to plan, prioritize and develop all the design activities.

• You will make sure to discover user needs, communicate them within the organization and make them inform the product roadmap.

• You will bring design and all its processes to a top level, assuring the best standards of quality over time.

• You will ensure the delivery of a consistent user experience across the product.

• You will mentor, support and motivate other designers.

• You will get you hands dirty and you will design, too :)

Job requirements

• You have at least 5-10 years of design experience.

• You have a broad range of skills with strengths both in product design (UX/UI) and communication/advertising design.

• You have a portfolio that proofs you are an amazing designer.

• You are able to design for different platforms and devices (web, mobile and other devices).

• You have excellent abilities in designing from concept to implementation, creating user-stories, user-journeys, wireframes, prototypes and pixel-perfect designs.

• You solve problems with a data-oriented approach (user-testing, user interviews, analytics, surveys, benchmarking, etc.)

• You are driven by a maniacal attention to quality and details.

• You are used to work chasing always the best tradeoff between speed and quality

• You have experience managing internal and/or external resources (e.g. other designers in your team and/or freelance designers)

• You are a team player, someone who works with generosity and disposability.

• You master copywriting as an intrinsic part of your design process.

• You master excellent creative, comunicative, relational and organizational skills.

• You’re fluent in English — we use it daily.
