The engineering team:

Two of the key company priorities for the next 12 months are:

• the ongoing migration from a monolith architecture to a service-oriented architecture, from a PHP/Symfony stack towards a Java / JS- dominated one.

• exciting product evolutions, based on smart geo-matching and practical algorithms that give a personalized experience to each individual user.

By joining our Engineering team, you will be managing our Monetization team composed of 4 talented back-end engineers.

What you will directly contribute to:

As Engineering Manager, your role will be to ensure your team works in the most impactful and efficient way towards the company objectives. You’ll be responsible for building and sharing a tech vision, ensuring project delivery and developing your team. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you’ll have autonomy in defining processes and the split of roles among your team. You’ll be accountable for results rather than processes.

• Building the roadmap, being accountable for its delivery and proactive communication to key stakeholders, according to business priorities.
• Defining the mid- and long-term technical strategy for this autonomous unit, ensuring quality of the code output and technological choices.
• Managing and developing a team of Software Engineers with various seniority levels (progression path, training, hiring, etc)
• Applying and sharing best practices across the Engineering team and the company as a whole.
