As Global Bus Safety & Quality Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to building a new vertical at BlaBlaCar. We are looking for someone who has the grit and motivation to join the entrepreneurial adventure.

Your mission is to offer a great service to our customers in terms of Quality and Safety standard across Europe. In this role you are attached to the Head of Global Bus Operations and you will grow your skills in operational excellence, customer satisfaction and crisis management.  

As Global Bus Safety & Quality Manager, you should be both strategic, defining the world-wide standards, as well as being hands-on supporting, and coaching local teams.

As such, the role requires strong organizational skills, proactivity and reliability.

What you will directly contribute to

  • Define Safety & Quality processes of our new Bus business line.

  • Responsible for Safety & Quality policy and compliance across countries

  • Real-time incident management and crisis management procedures

  • Oversee risk assessments

  • Define Safety & Quality audit processes (among bus partners, on lines or at bus stops)

  • Challenge local action plans following audits, controls, and customer surveys.  

  • Creation and implementation of Safety & Quality reports.

  • Define and develop training policy and processes for bus partners’ drivers as well as local operational teams in countries.

  • Providing coaching, mentoring and guidance to your peers

  • Animate a geographically dispersed team of local Safety & Quality professionals

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful

  • Excellent proficiency in safety and quality operations in mobility sector

  • 8 - 12 years of experience in mobility sector

  • Knowledge of training methods and processes

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Proactive, reliable and customer oriented.

  • Ability to work as a part of a team

  • English speaking, good level of German

  • Full proficiency in MS office

  • Owner of a driver’s licence and willingness to travel
