As a Localization Project Manager at BlaBlaCar, you will be responsible to drive the execution and the delivery of content localization in all of our 22 countries.
We see content as an essential ingredient in product design and you will have a significant role to play in ensuring our product is clear, easy to use and inspiring for our members across borders.
Positioned within the Product and Experience Team, your focus will be on ensuring a high quality adaptation in all languages, in the right time and following the most optimal process. You will be working closely with product managers, designers, copywriters, local teams, stakeholders outside the product team and partners.
What you will contribute to:
Managing day-to-day translation projects from project inception, through completion, to final delivery;
Working with partners and internal stakeholders to assess, prioritize and manage translation needs;
Overseeing the quality of all translated content;
Managing in-house and external localization contractors: hiring, management, budget follow-up and optimization, quality performance;
Establishing processes, methodologies, standards and best practices for scale to ensure all training and always be looking for process improvement opportunities;
Evaluating current localization tools and processes and manage improvements directly with our partners, including opportunities to automate;
Maintaining global content coherence across all our platforms.
