When you’re not catching zzz’s, this is what you’ll do
  • Set and execute visual merchandising strategy aligned with brand vision, mission, core values and Casper differentiating factors / beliefs.
  • Participate in Product Development pipeline to articulate presentations through the lens of commercial opportunity, competitive landscape, seasonal / promotional cycles and disposition. Collaborate in developing by store tiered buys aligned to presentation standards and replenishment / seasonal buys
  • Partner with the Environments team in development of displays and signing that supports in store and account objectives.
  • Be primary developer of wholesale account in store presentation strategies and standards
  • Develop compelling presentations that distorts launch, category, collection, seasonal, promotional and disposition presentations.
  • Create a cyclical and replicable calendar for in store presentation in coordination with key partners. 
  • Create and institutionalize an in-store visual playbook for all retail stores including full price and outlet aligned to tiered and micro-assorted distribution strategies; customize tools and experience for wholesale partner/shops aligned to micro-assorted and / or account specific distribution.
  • Develop tools that are scalable and fungible globally to support future expansion plans executed by partner visual teams
  • Lead and develop a diverse team of visual merchants and production staff
  • Be an ambassador for and represent the Casper core values as a role model to peers, partners, direct reports
  • Develop in store visual execution methodology in partnership with retail and wholesale commercial teams
  • Develop and manage annual budgets for retail full price, outlet and wholesale channels. Create ROI templates that reflect brand and commercial objectives and opportunities.
  • Oversee and critique in-store presentation
Our dream candidate is...
  • 10+ years in diverse brand environments - soft and hard goods; preferably low
  • and high volume.
  • Experience in high volume businesses with multiple channels and multiple
  • accounts.
  • Experience developing and executing against identified budgets. Experience in
  • developing ROI tests for projects.
  • Overseeing direct report groups at multiple levels of experience
  • Execution oriented with balance of hands on dedication and ability to delegate
  • Highly commercial POV within a brand love construct
  • Has led and developed diverse teams of creatives and non-creatives
  • Strong Planning skills
  • Driver of consensus and cross collaboration
  • Deep retail in-store merchandising intelligence - space orientation, flow, fixtures,
  • placement, signage, customer queues, aesthetics and composition
  • Communicates effectively verbally, in writing, at all levels
  • Confidence, not ego
  • Emotional intelligence, great listener
