MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB:

Davines Group is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager for the German market in order to run and lead the marketing of the brand in assigned market.

Reporting to the Country Manager of Germany, the Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for defining and implementing local market brand development initiatives in accordance to headquarters’ guidelines in order to reinforce the brand visibility.

She/he will define, develop and put in place local marketing strategies, promotions, public relations & communications, cross media events and loyalty programs based on the identification of market opportunities to support the sales force in their brand penetration & distribution  

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To design, develop and deploy local trade marketing strategies based on the identification of market opportunities  including product launches, promotions, public relations and communications as well as cross media events;
• The implementation of social marketing campaigns and the development of prospection programs activities and events for new customer;
• To define and coordinate local product launch strategies, brand calendars and initiatives from the initial launch through to pricing definition, promotional and in-salon execution, in order to achieve brand visibility, high sell through and substantial salon ranking within the market;
• To create targeted brand and communication activities to support the sales force to increase brand penetration & distribution;
• To Design loyalty programs for FIELD salons and KEY accounts;
• Clients and market opportunities analysis/identification in order define business opportunities and sales objectives;
• To actively support brand positioning through deep understanding of target consumers, industry trends and competitive brands to gain competitive in order to impact on the customer journey and influence purchase decisions;
• To cooperate with external PR agencies to maximize and support internal initiatives as well as to overall increase the brand recognition toward the end consumer;
• To manage and organize eventsin close relation with the education team;
• Cross-functional coordination of a Social Media Junior Specialist, Trade Marketing budget, Education always acting as a point of reference between the sales on the field, the Country Manager and the central Trade Mkt Dept (Italy);

The ideal candidate has 

• a minimum of 4 years’ experience and a strong working knowledge in event management, marketing or trade in the beauty industry;
• A solid business insight and understanding of trade marketing in Germany as well as is current on the latest industry trends;
• Pro-active, strong interpersonal communication skills, strong commercial awareness as well as Economical/financial skills (to evaluate cost-effectiveness marketing), able to build a win win approach, multitasking, actual organisation skills, team player and leaderships skills;
• Highly fluent in German and English.
