We are seeking an established Photo Editor to provide world-class, curated visual content across multiple mediums in line with EyeEm internal and external projects and timelines.

Supporting the Visual Lead, Image Group, the role will have a creative hand in ideation, client headhunting and business development concepts as part of a highly proactive approach to this position. Also specific EyeEm brand marketing and platform initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Clear visual leadership across verticals & trends.
• Execute small & large, complex client briefs tied to brand visual identity.
• Proactively & instinctively develop curated concepts that reinforce our core brand message - Depth, originality, scale, new voices.
• Support and manage company platform visual needs through the EyeEm content calendar.
• Be a visual resource for wider EyeEm teams, including production and Studio.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 year experience in a professional creative or editorial industry
• Art buying and/or scale research experience
• A strong understanding of the business of photography and an enterprising mind.
• Project management and large scale project exposure and experience.
• A strong understanding of the visual economy and the social media/engagement world.
• Fundamentals in design and image post-production
• A close connection to photography through education.
• Adobe Creative Cloud fluency. Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier, InDesign, Bridge or other related programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus!
