FACEIT are looking for a Director of People Operations to help us develop and retain the best talent in a highly competitive market. You should bring the highest level of operational knowledge, EQ and HR best practice to the table enabling us to future proof the company for growth.
Reporting to the CEO, you will manage a Senior Recruiter and the company’s administrative function. You will inspire your team members to own the organisational excellence of FACEIT. 
High-performance and efficiency in our organisation is our number one priority as we build our strategy for continued growth so ideally you should have experience rolling out programmes that have resulted in increased productivity and engagement. Experience rolling out OKR’s is a bonus.
In year one you will focus on issues such as performance reviews, employee engagement, defining our corporate culture, increasing productivity, and knowledge sharing/learning and development just to name a few. This is truly an opportunity to shape an organisation.
Responsibilities
  • Develop a people strategy to deliver improved and aligned performance across the business. Take a lead in formulating a people strategy which is aligned with our company goals.
  • Define and implement our engagement strategy. Put forward creative ideas on how to generate a growth mindset across the business.
  • Embed learning and development across the business, defining how the organisation will build skill and capability using a combination of knowledge sharing and training via internal and external resources
  • Deliver processes that accelerate growth, drive our values and accurately reflect the law. This includes setting up processes such as performance reviews, training, learning and development initiatives.
  • Provide counsel to the CEO on all people-related topics. Work alongside our management team to manage day-to-day considerations such as performance issues, or issues with employee relations.
  • Ensure our HR infrastructure is fit for purpose, efficient and compliant and develop a reporting framework to track performance
  • Ownership of the on/offboarding processes including managing induction, probation and performance management and ensuring all exits are well managed
  • Must haves
  • Experience in a leadership role ideally within a start up environment
  • Demonstrable experience of building a top class people function
  • A can-do attitude. Someone who embodies pro-activity, with a roll-your-sleeves-up attitude
  • Relevant university degree and CIPD accreditation
  • Must have the right to work in London
