YOUR ROLE
Are you passionate about music festivals? Are you keen to develop an in-depth knowledge of the music festivals industry, while helping to create unique, engaging content? We are looking to offer the role of Content Intern to a digital native who’s creative, analytical, hard-working, obsessed by live music and travel, and excited about driving up traffic and engagement across Festicket.com.
KEY TASKS
- Work on the content of Festicket.com alongside the rest of the Content Team, as directed by the Head of Content.
- Help with the creation of festival guides, taking in a wide variety of music genres and global locations.
- Help ensure that Festicket is up-to-date with all the latest lineups and festival announcements.
- Contribute to the Festicket Magazine, including News, Features, Interviews and Discover-style articles, as directed by the Head of Content.
- Compile and analyse traffic data of Festicket’s content as a whole, and of the Magazine specifically, identifying trends and opportunities to increase traffic and engagement.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience writing for magazine/blogs/online publications, within the music/events/travel industry.
- Good knowledge of music festivals
- Passion for both music and writing
- Fantastic copywriting skills
- Professional, committed and determined
- Experienced with Photoshop
- Creative flair, at both the ideas and execution stages
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Great interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Video editing/content creation is desirable.
