Description

• You are responsible for regulatory (long range transportation) and legal (public/administrative) topics pertaining to Flixbus operations in both Spain and Portugal (eg. International concessions and bus stops)
• You will work closely with our international network planning and business development teams, and will be fully responsible for all administrative and legal procedures necessary to open and operate a bus line
• You will take charge regarding all necessary forms and communication with city/regional/central Govt entities and authorities as well as having regular contact (meetings) with public civil servants as well as entities that own/manage bus stops
• You are knowledgeable and stay up-to-date with applicable standards and regulations pertaining to the transportation industry and provide insights to our internal team
• You build and actively manage relationships with regulatory authorities and assure that needed authorizations are always issued on time
• You research, process and renew licenses, permits and more with appropriate Governmental Entities and entities/Companies that manage bus stops
• You collaborate with Flixbus international and local teams ( i.e. business development and network planning) • Degree in law, international relations, political science, transport science, economics, tourism or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in administratice/public law, authorizations, or related positions, ideally in the mobility/transportation industry or in a related sector
• Proven expertise in dealing with legal topics, authorities and other administrative matters
• High motivation for achievement and the necessary entrepreneurial drive to develop the business with us
• Proactive, communicative, and strong negotiation skills • Fluent in Spanish and Portugese, working proficiency in English
