FlixBus was founded by three young entrepreneurs in Munich with the goal of making sustainable bus travel both comfortable and affordable. At the same time, "MeinFernbus" began operating bus routes from Berlin throughout Germany.

After the end of the rail monopoly in 2013, these two start-ups established themselves as the leaders of the long-distance bus market and gained a strong position against international competitors. Since the merge of our teams in Munich and Berlin, we are the clear market leader in Germany.

As of 2015, FlixBus has also been expanding internationally: we’ve established domestic long-distance bus networks in France, Italy, Austria and the Netherlands, as well as the regular cross-border services to Scandinavia, Spain, England and the region of Central and Eastern Europe. Today, passengers can benefit from Europe's largest long-distance bus network.

Currently, an international team of nearly 1,000 employees throughout Munich, Berlin, Paris, Milan and Zagreb as well as thousands of our partner's bus drivers from all over Europe, stand behind the green mobility provider. Job purpose :
 Your tasks:
  • You plan, develop and manage performance-based campaigns for SEA (GSN, Bing)
  • You are in charge of operative and strategic aspects, taking into account all relevant KPIs
  • You continuously optimize account structure, keyword portfolio, ad copies, landing pages and bid management strategies
  • You assure that the reporting of relevant KPIs is always up to date and conduct analyses on a regular basis
  • You question existing processes, find opportunities for automation and help implementing internal & external tools (e.g. bid management) to increase campaign efficiency
  • You develop innovative strategies to improve and expand our SEA activity by conducting A/B-testing & analyses and evaluating new AdWords betas & features
  • You share your extensive knowledge & experience with the team, mentor and motivate them to achieve common goals
  • You are in close contact with other departments and external partners

  • Your Profile:
  • Bachelor/Master in Economics, Business Informatics, Statistics, or similar
  • Several years of professional experience in in the management of SEA campaigns
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/AdWords Scripts or any other object-based language are a plus
  • Experience with bid management and campaign management tools are a plus
  • Previous experience a dynamic/international environment is a plus
  • An affiliation with numbers and very good analytical skills, paired with the ability to find creative solutions as well as a high level of initiative and reliability
  • Strong communication skills as well as a goal-driven and team-oriented working style
  • Fluent in German or English - Any other European languages are a plus

    Job purpose :
    To support our team we are currently looking for a Product Owner (m/f) based in Munich.

    Your tasks:
  • You will be responsible for the Marketing domain and you will focus on topics such as SEM Bid Management Automation, Discounts and Promotions, Customer Relationship Management and Campaigns, Clickstream Analysis and Dynamic Webpage Adaptation. Within this domain your tasks will be:
  • Purpose: Give purpose to the team by sharing your vision of a great product the product team is delivering for the customer.
  • Ownership: Create and maintain an exceptional understanding of the target user and their current and future needs.
  • Return on Invest: Create great return on invest by focusing on customer and business value.
  • Setting Priorities: Own, prioritize and refine the product backlog, in line with the strategic vision, including but not limited to writing user stories.
  • Market Watch: Create and maintain a strong understanding of the competitor landscape and strategic opportunities and challenges.
  • Technology Scout: Create and maintain a good understanding of emerging technologies.
