Description

You will work as an Intern Network Planning France (m/f/d) in a self-organized, cross-functional team. The mission of the team is to optimize the schedules, cycles and shift schedules of our lines to deliver a great product to our customer, always basing your decisions on quantitative analyses. As part of your daily work, you work closely with your fellow team members, for example pricing & yield managers.

• You will support line managers to optimize the French network by analyzing key indicators and working out development scenarios as well on a line as on a network basis
• You will also work on exploring new markets, thus providing input for further network growth
• You manage your own projects within the International Network Planning team
• You collaborate closely with our various Network Planning teams as well as other departments within our company •Currently enrolled student with a background of Transportation Management, Spatial Planning, Geography, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, Applied Economics or Mathematics, or similar
•Knowledge of the French geography and mobility habits desirable
•Capacity to analyse numbers, build a diagnosis and model solutions accordingly
•Organizational skills as well as accuracy and enthusiasm
•Knowledge of the transportation sector desirable
•You are organized and autonomous
•You have a team oriented working style
•High communicational skills and ability to take ownership of your tasks
•Fluent in English, every other language (especially French) is a plus
