foodora is a Berlin-based food delivery service that partners exclusively with beloved local restaurants to deliver quality meals in over 50 cities worldwide. We know the best that our cities offer and we’re bringing it online, enabling our customers to order their favourite food through our app (for iOS or Android) or web portal. We provide our restaurant-partners with an on-demand fleet of bicycle couriers, making it simple for customers around the world to access delicious meals.  


We are currently expanding rapidly through Europe, Canada, and Australia, and are always on the hunt for the brightest minds to join our team. Not only do we want to bring quality food to customers around the world, we also want to redefine delivery food to include the very best meals from beloved local restaurants.


Due to our continued expansion internationally we are looking to hire a Senior Recruitment Manager (m/f) for our Berlin HQ.


Responsibilities:


  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment life-cycle, acting as a key business partner for all hiring activities for foodora HQ as well as our European territories
  • Collaborating with departmental hiring managers to define and develop vacancy requirements and hiring strategies
  • Optimising recruitment processes and developing innovative ways to attract and test potential foodora employees
  • Ensuring that vacancies are advertised on the correct channels, including the management of our social media career page
  • Screening applicants' CVs, conducting telephone and skype interviews as well as leading face-to-face interviews with the department's respective managers
  • Taking a lead in departmental projects from increasing employment diversity, countering recruitment biases, optimising our employer branding and working towards foodora being a truly inclusive business
  • Training hiring managers on interview best practices as well as coaching them through the offer process
  • Lead advanced direct search efforts for hard to fill vacancies including x-ray searching, Boolean searching and event networking to maintain a pipeline of talent for future vacancy growth
  • Mentoring junior members of the Recruitment team and driving a culture of knowledge sharing and transparency

Requirements:


  • At least two years experience in full life-cycle recruitment, ideally with a background in agency or a high performance environment
  • The drive and ambition to work towards demanding business growth objectives
  • A thirst for constant innovation in recruiting techniques, best practices and sourcing technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of empathy and the ability to make people excited about the foodora brand
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to adapt data from People Analytics into your recruitment style
  • The ability to work autonomously with initiative and confidence
  • Fluency in the English language. Fluency in any other languages of foodora territories will be looked upon favourably
  • A tertiary education in a field that has informed your approach to talent acquisition
